Hey i just thought maybe, until we get private or public rooms maybe we should all make an AIM(America online instant messenger, i believe) and communicate through that. But i don't know if people outside of US can make one. But it would make it easier to get together by telling others what race your at and when your going to push the start button lol

maybe with a VoIP program. One that supports multiple actors conference. I synchronize with a friend on MSN, but that only works in pair.

I personally use MSN Messenger instead of AIM.

Oh, and mustangbrad, I beat all the events required to unlock expert online events, so if you ever see that I'm online I'll likely be in the 700PP Expert race at Daytona Road, Suzuka, or Fuji.

Same here! and also i'll be in high speed ring, i always been in 4 of this race on-line. trying to get 450,000 for S event. i play High speed race or Daytona because i'm always on top 3, (High speed Ring first place 9 out of 10 = fast cash)

My friends and I use the call of duty 4 on the 360 to talk to each other in game on gt5p. We log in to the same party in a private room and just set in the lobby, it works great.
Maybe someone should start a thread in here for people with a 360 and cod4 who want to meet up and race on gt5p. All you would have to do is send friends invites and then invite each other to join your cod4 party. it's pretty simple, and a good solution until pd gets the ball rolling with the match making.

What an odd suggestion for communication. Surely using Teamspeak/Ventrilo or even just plain old MSN messenger is easier and cheaper for most people? Or even IRC?

Most peoples 360's are right beside their ps3. My computer is in an entirely different room. so all I have to do with the 360 is set down in my racing chair and control everything from there. Plus I don't have any of those things you've mentioned, nor do i have a pc wireless headset.
I didn't mean for people to go out and buy cod4 for this purpose. I just figured anyone with a 360 would have this game. It's a great example of how well a game can be made.
Some might be able to do this with the 360, some might use your suggestions, either way i would like to see one being used so that some good racing could happen.
