Mattics contacted me regarding missing last weeks race. He will be missing this weeks race as well. I let him know his spot will be held no matter how many races he may miss. We will see him at Laguna.
 
Unfortunately, I'm going to be missing tonight as well.. Think i might as well drop out of the series as my Friday nights get busy..
 
Hey JT, I plan on racing tonight but I am stuck babysitting my 3month old while the woman plays bunco down her moms. So if she acts up I'll have to quit the race. Just wanted to give you guys the heads up.

Blanket, bottle and chupon and your set. You'll be fine. Just time the changing and feeding right. And don't quit, just park it somewhere and either rejoin when you can or just stay put.
 
I don't know if snake will make it tonight or not. It's deer season here and he's going from 4am til well after dark on very little sleep. He got his deer, but he guides out of state hunters all day every day. After season is over (this weekend is the end I think), he'll get his wheel setup and hopefully be able to race regular.
 
Congrats to xR0ADRASHx and ncrthree for your class wins at Race 3. Thank you to all the drivers that showed for TMR. Great racing as always.

I may just sit out the Spa race. The way I feel after that last lap pass last night, I won't be safe to be on the track next week. :mad:

Here is my ruling on the last lap battle for 1st place in the GT300 class. Coming to the white flag Bo is leading when he hits the grass and spins. NCR passes Bo on the straight following ITOSS, NCR gets squirrelly after the chicane and Bo passes going into turn 1. Some slight contact is made as NCR was on the outside. Turn 2 NCR goes to the outside of Bo and in doing so taps the wall and then taps Bo. Bo then scrapes the wall in turn 3 and contacts NCR slightly. They continue on side by side to turn 4 with NCR on fresher tires having the advantage to keep more speed out of the turn.

In my opinion there was no malicious intent on either racers part and was a battle for the win in their class. No penalty will be enforced
 
ncr went for a line on the outside, the rock wall was in his line and he smacked it. His car bounced off the wall into Bo causing Bo to scrape the left rock wall. As ncr was not trailing Bo for some time tapping him repeatedly or hitting him directly, a penalty will not be issued. This was a non malicious accident caused by a bad driving line.

Yeah well my 2nd place finish shows what I did wrong. My screwed up pit and your counter strategy worked against me big time.

I really thought you were going to run away with this one. I almost spun several times in the early going putting me back to 3rd and then 4th. Jess and I danced around each other a couple times putting us back further. When I came by pit road I actually saw your car do the pit glitch as you pulled in.

I did mention to everyone prior to race start about there approach to pit road. From here out we should test race condition entry speeds a post the results on the thread so it doesn't become a factor again
 
I pit in 1st gear. I think at TMR the pit road is very short. By the time I pressed the button to clear the tire and fuel menu I had already passed my "assigned pit" and my car went backwards to line up with the pit crew.

I had first pit as you entered pit road But I crawled in and didn't have any issues
 
Im really sorry for showing up late and driving terrible, I have been working alot, Im excited about Spa , and promise to be more competitive lol!

Anyone done any laps there yet? Im about to do some practice runs.

I'm glad you showed. We just rolled out so it was good. I think I turned a 2.09 once at Spa with the GT500 specs.
 
More on TMR: On the last lap I was about to pass the Start/Fin line and made sure to avoid Boshuter and then entered the chicane in my usual line. There was a GT500 car ahead that I didn't realize had just finished his race and was at cool down speed. I thought some of the GT500's were still racing and I wasn't keeping track of their positions. Nearly spun out but held on thankfully.

Funny, we had just talked about the lap difference last week.

Although a penalty may not be issued for all reviewed incidents, please note that all incidents are discussed privately with the accused party and a warning may be issued.
 
I think it was like every other racing incident.
Close racing begets bumping and the odd crash.
The stewards don't always see it your way.
trust me I know I have been in way too many incidents to list here.
I just smile and say "you know my car does make a good gard rail after all" :sly:
I would just let it go, after all its just a video game:)
We have a week off, take a break, feel free to race in some of the other rooms.
I am sure you will get sick of the 'dive bombing' into corners that end up with you getting smashed and sent spinning off of the track:crazy:
It happens in other series too:scared: believe it or not! I have felt it first hand :ouch:
Besides it can't be as frustrating :grumpy: as I felt, I worked on my car for an entire week, only to watch you and NCR drive off into the distance and almost lapped both me and Logan! :sick: Whom I would like to thank for making that mistake to let me get the advantage to make a good clean pass :sly:
I can't practice Spa so I will not be a factor in next weeks race.
As for Laguna Seca, I am not even going to try anymore :guilty: the Celica's are just too damn fast to catch up with in my heavy MRS

I cant see this as bad driving and I don't think there was any ill intent. We are all friends here who spend a lot of time racing and tuning together. I am being completely bias here not saying anyone was wrong or right.

JT and I can certainly not issue a penalty here or call it over aggressive, if you watched the replay from Fuji's last lap JT and I were door to door with slight contact through the whole last lap. We both went off track a couple times and lost momentum to each other. Win or lose I felt that was some of the most competitive racing I've had in a long time.

I know this last track was a totally different animal all together with it's slick conditions and walls instead off run off areas. Could or should have NCR waited and followed Bo through till the tunnel straight? Maybe but in running the 300 class with you guys I felt that they could make passes were the 500's couldn't. Hard racing on the last lap for the win is what this is all about, yes there might be some contact or bumping but as long as it's clean and not ill intended I don't see anything wrong

You guys both had spun prior to turn 1. Now I know that when that happens the adrenalin starts flowing a little faster especially on the last lap. You guys were fighting for the top spot. Bo and NCR, you guys are very competitive and push each other to be faster.

My advice, get a big bottle of Jack and get together and work this out so there are no hard feelings and keep this league and STC running strong.

Will probably end up last in my class on this track:( as the rest of you pass me by, most likely on a one stop strategy :banghead:

I think 1.26 is good for your class.
