AK Syrena Meluzyna R '15

AK Motor Polska Sp. z o.o. has unveiled the new AK Syrena Meluzyna R at the 53rd Barborka Rally in downtown Warsaw, Poland on December 12, 2015. The AK Syrena Meluzyna R is the official continuation of the classic FSO Syrena and will be offered in a limited, exclusive quantity of 25 cars.

The Meluzyna R is constructed around a hand built, chromoly tubular steel space frame, with composite material bodywork and powered by a highly tuned motor putting out over 400 hp. The car weighs only about 1100 kg making for a power-to-weight ratio that is in the supercar class.

According to AK Motor founder Arkadiusz Kaminski, “At 60 years of age, Syrena is one of the great classic European car brands. It is time for Poland to share this brand with the rest of the world. What better way to do it than with a race car?”
