:nervous: well this is my first ever post here on the forums and i figured i oughta post my pics that i have because im new... they are basically pictures of my most used cars so enjoy i guess!

350Z LM racecar at Apricot Hill Raceway...blurry but the scenery came out beautifully!

Comment and Critique a lot... Im gonna get picks of my minolta and street cars and such soon!
 
Not a bad start man, it seems that you put more thought into your pictures than most of the new people here at GTP...it seems like most people just go crazy and take a bunch of crappy shots and post them up...but you didnt, and i congratulate you on that. You composition is good because you try to incorporate the scenery and surroundings into your pictures, this is always nice, that deep forest one would be really nice if it wasnt soo dark, it could def. use some brightness...i like what you tried to do with your second BMW pic, although the people in GT4 dont look very well made...but you cant help that...these would look much better if touched up in photoshop some, but if you dont have photoshop you could always try out some free software such as GIMP...plus there are numerous tutorials to teach you how to make your pictures beautiful....nice start, keep it up, keep putting thought into your photographs, and i believe good things will come from you!

About the banner, it depends on what you want in it, but you will need some sort of photo editing program that has a crop tool in it, so you can crop out a sort of banner shape...

also can anyone tell me how you guys get like decals and stuff like that and headlights...i dont get how people do that
 
well the way that i do decals is that find it, copy it as a new layer in photoshop, overlay it, and lower the opacity if it needs it.... If you have never used photoshop or something similar, then you wont understand a thing i just said...sorry if that is the case...
 
well ive used photoshop on a mac and i dont know if i can use the HP software i have...i dont know what all i can do...lemme go test it
 
very nice pics. very great start. i saw dead poetic talking about a banner so ill just tell you what i did because it seems like you need some help with it. all i did for a banner was find a pic i liked. brought it to paint. use a white line to mark the areas where you want the banner to stop vertically. erase the extra parts of the pic you dont want in your banner indicated by the lines you just made. use the selection tool to select your banner. move the banner to the top. the bring the area so your banner is the only thing showing. ( bring the outside lines in so theres no white left). then save. you can put your name on it using paint but i wouldn't recomened using paint to do it. well thats what i did on my banner. also check the remove size resolution box when you upload your pics off imageshack. other than that and brightness, awesome pics
 
first update...I tested HP photo editing software and brightened up my deep forest 320i....it blurred a little but It still looks alright!

The option is on the first page when you are uploading your pictures, there's a box you tick.
 
I'll remember that...but my friend is on the ps2 so i cant take new and original pictures right now but ill have more up tommorrow and hopefully a new banner!
 
sorry about the size text but i think i am missing part of the text so the box to diable the resolution text doesnt appear.....
Anyways, i never touched any of these photos on my computer i just used GT4's editing options and references from some of the other people in this forum for inspiration......

btw, nice shots, but maybe a bit brighter mght do the trick, i dunno it's you pics, and they're great! and thanks, for going to my gallery!
 
An ok start, but you could have turned the brightness up and edited both the contrast and exposure.
 
make sure that you are saving these with the best quality offered in the game, because to be honest, the quality sucks....the pics arent bad, but they are sooo grainy and pixely....
