It's been years since my wife has done algebra, and this one is driving her crazy on her himework tonight. I figured maybe some of the super smart GTP members could help out with this one.
That comes out to x^-36/x+18=1, no? I'm not sure how to show it formally, but when I have to resolve complex fractions I just swing the bottom one to the top.
