All Gt1 cars rev the same?

I'm not sure if it's developer oversight on the rev counter graphic or a genuine flaw with the car design, but every car appears to hit it's indicated rev limiter at around 8,000rpm. Even cars like the corvette with would never go that high.

I know in this day and age gt1 isnt that realistic anyway, but i always notice it now, it's like when someone points out canned laughter. :yuck:
 
Seems you didnt play the game enough. There are some cars that have 10 000 rpm gauge if i remember..
 
Nah some cars rev higher than others. VTECs like the Civic and such rev to their proper 9,000-10,000RPM range, while cars like the C4 Vette rev to around 7,000RPM.
I have noticed however that every car in GT1 shifts like an automatic (revs just drop, no moment of silence while the driver shifts).
