It isn't, but every member agreed to
the AUP on signup. It's not optional. Being from a non-English country doesn't give one carte blanche on spelling - we do understand there will be some spelling errors, or if a user uses a translator, some improper syntax. But simple laziness is different. Funnily enough, we have plenty of members that type English better than others who claim it as their first language.
We also have members of staff with extensive experience working with dyslexia, which is one of the most common defenses on the internet (along with Aspergers). While it definitely crops up legitimately, it unfortunately has become a bit of a fall-back for others.
I'll also point out that there's nothing here stating internet acronyms are against GTP policy.
