I would still join , even if we're just doing a practise session.
 
To me, it sounds like a testing session is in order so we can feel some things out. I should be home around 5:30 Brandon Daylight Time, if a room is up I'll join. 👍
 
I forgot we're having an electrician do some work today. I should be able to join the session, but I might be late. -_-

It is going to be a small crowd tonight, we might shorten the races and try different cars if people so choose. Join when you can :)

Updated the spreadsheet. Going to be 15min / 30 min so at least S2K does not need any additional fuel.
 
Seems I messed up the counter again. I hate am and pm around midnight...

Room is up for some testing. 2 hours to event but some of us Europeans start early :)

2035km on my S2k: "Body rigidity is starting to deteriorate". Restored.

So how did people feel? For the cars that CM actually is usable, is it better or worse? I ask because I am thinking of trimming down the list and might trim to cars that can handle CM if people like it...

Personally, I don't mind either way. CM gets more randomness and more mistakes that equals to more fun race in my opinion.

As a side note CS worked nicely for Jonnaidoo. Nice racing for first online visit! :bowdown:

Thanks Cu3e, was great fun. I will try to pack in some practise with CM tyres for next week's race. I assume this will happen next friday also?

Sure! Maybe try another track. Someone mentioned a GT Original track that is supposedly in Japan :D
 
Grand Valley and Cape Ring are both supposedly in Japan. Trial Mountain could pass as a Japanese track, as could Apricot Hill.
 
I rather enjoy Cape Ring South. Testing the tracks next week. Busy weekend :D
 
The North or South version I like, can't remember which (I think it's North) but the other versions I'm not terribly fond of. Don't like the loop and jump. You can see Mt. Fuji in the distance though so it's definitely in Japan.
 
I think we are talking abot the some track. Small esses type turns and one huge fast half circle..? I think it is South.
 
Sounds like it. Double-apex hairpin to the left at the end onto a long straight.
 
That straight I am bit worried about for BRZ.

Lets try out my theory for flipping the table. For second race next friday guys who usually drive BRZ take S2K with CM and who usually drive S2K take BRZ with CS.

I had pretty fun duel with @KingKlingeling him in BRZ CM, me BRZ CS. With faster car for King it might have beem pretty even.

Just a reminder. We will be at Cape Ring South with 3 cars: BRZ, S2000 and RX-8. Driving with CM tires.

Maybe testing turning tables but want to test that at least once before. Testing up tonight! Around 9pm BST.

Quiet week... :confused: Might turn out to be another official practice session? Server will be up at least 30 min before scheduled time. I might make it public to maybe attract few random clean racers.

I have done some online test laps. My online lap times are almost exactly same as the offline tests I did last sunday.
