I have NSX in one of my PS3's but i need to go for it(I dont remember Pass and e mail). It was a Walmart Preorder, i had 2 codes, i used one and the other is unuseful now because expiration date was in January(it was never used).

I have redeemed expired codes in the past and it has worked.

Your GT5 disc is PAL which plays europe and NTSC plays in other regions like America works on the same theory as DVD.?
Hope that helps.
Even if you download you will not have it unless your PS3 plays NTSC disc,s.

I thought PS3 disks were region free.
 
Quick EDIT:

What about the DLC code for the mustang car Camaro SS Edge Special you can get the code, But it will not work using a PAL copy of GT5.
You need a NTSC disc not just an American account with a PAL disc?
Hope that clears it up a little.?

Ok but your DLC is not going to work if the disk doesn't match, thats the point I'm trying to make.

If you ask Jitcup why he can not collect museum cards then that would help.
He,s on some sort of Asian setup.
Am on PAL but even with an American account I can not use the code for a Camaro SS Edge Special.
Its a strange one and you,ll get many answers.?

First of all, PS3 games are Region free! So if you have an NTSC PS3 system and you wanna run PAL game, you can, and vice versa!. Region 1 (NTSC), you'll find it on the side of the box, written 1. Region 2 (PAL), you'll find it on the back of the box, written 2. The issue here is either from your TV compatibility system or from your PS3 video output settings! Is your TV Multisystem? Meaning, does it supports NTSC and PAL video content? Because if your TV Region 1, NTSC system only, then you can't run a PAL content, like GT5 Region 2 (PAL)! Check the color system that's supported by you TV, do you see PAL? Check also your PS3 video output settings, by the way, 480i & 480p are NTSC video signals, 576i & 576p are PAL video signals!

Thats why I tried to tell you about the 2 on the back of your box.
2 on back of your box indicates your running PAL.
Like I say there is many answers on this subject but DLC will not work unless your running the right set up for it?

it doesnt matter which PS3 you are on...

If the DLC doesnt match the disk, it wont work. From my understanding it takes an account and disk of said region to work.

Same concept on why NATS(?) users cant get the GTAcademy GTR special that was only available to European members

Now maybe i'm wrong or maybe not (which is the latter most of times) but the OP has 18 posts and his PSN is hidden plus the username resembles me of someone not long ago who got banned for doing this here in gtp by trying to gameshare Stealth/Chrome Line NTSC cars for tickets. Apparently this same person used a 2nd username here (Noob Saibot) but got banned again for exactly the same conduct. His first username here in the forums was BeBlacky (PSN ID Purrungote) :sly: With 18 posts and with such a high interest trade which involves many items as this one does you could be less secretive about yourself...after all if you're clean there's nothing to hide ;) I hope i'm wrong anyway 👍

Gear Ninja LOL Shurikin buttons huh? LOL My friend,this thread is almost a carbon copy of one posted a couple of months ago or even less and it wasn't a happy ending for the OP at the time.I'm just expressing my reservations about this but wish you all the luck with it.Same goes to all the other vets we know and are trying to snatch in this thread as well :)
