props my man, that was directed to anyone who uses sims.
cant wait to see the vid!

i used 800 - 900 - 1000 hp cars before i discover'd gtp and a couple guys here, especially battle_stage made me switch to sims and i have became such a better drifter in about 3 months time...

btw... does anyone mind if the vid is 19 MB... id i reduce it to 4MB i loose alot of quality...

What is up with all these tire banter these days? Everyother thread seems to be, well sometimes inadvertently, ends up being about "sims suck" or "slicks suck". In the end, its all drifting anyways.

Oh, and I'm gonna try the setup now exhaust. I think I did the stock-drift thing with an FD before. But I'm gonna go and try you're car...

Sims take more skill to keep the car in a smooth drift. With sims, you can't just mash the gas, you have to make small adjustments to the gas, brake, and countersteer. I drift every combo, but nothing feels as good, and makes better replays, then low power on sims. ;)

this is probably the only point id agree on, but i donno, simply put i find it more fun on slicks, i only use sims on low powered cars

I was sold on high-power cars until just recently. Sylviadrifter showed me some of his cars using SIMs, normals, and sports tires. I'm a believer now......
However, nothing feels better to me than a high-powered car under your hands, but I am more aware that everything has its place.

Glad to hear, and it's Silviadrifter.;)

My sentiments exactly and especially with my new interest in low HP and sims (experiencing the "other side") I'm curious to know what my final opinion will be once I master the latter...

Sorry Sean.....I'll be sure to spell it correctly in the future!!!

If you are used to drifting high-power, Catch.....it will always be in your blood!!!!! That's nothing that can be changed....you will just be better at it, not to mention more well-rounded....that's all.

Just because I got into tuners a couple years ago, doesn't mean SportCompacts will EVER take the place of Muscle Cars for me!!!!

^
i don't consider porsches, supras, M3's or Evolution's sport compacts nor muscle cars and that category of car will be my one and only... forever...
