I'm just wondering as I am 17 days from obtaining this game on PS.

I have heard its better on pc, i find the game great on ps3 though.

Depends on a few things:

-The spec of your pc. If you don't have a good spec PC it may be better to get it for PS3, but generally speaking the PC version is better if you can run it.

-Do you own a wheel? The PC version will be poorly optimised with anything but a wheel or an Xbox 360 controller (I'm assuming you don't have one of these). The PS3 version however, will be playable with a DS3

-Do you intend to play online in this game, if so do you know people with it on PC or PS3?

I got the game for PC (because it was like £15 cheaper during the steam sale than the PS3 version), but the majority of online events here on GTP are on the PS3, so if you are intending to race with people here go with the PS3.

I play on ps3 and its pretty decent. My only issues with it is sometimes the fps is less than desirable and the anti-aliasing is either at a low setting or non-existent. Apart from that it runs and plays very nicely on the ps3.

As far as the PC, you need a beefy one to take advantage of the visuals. There's a few bugs/glitches like autosave will stop working and the game can randomly crash at the China GP. These two have kept me from purchasing it on the PC. I'm not sure, but maybe some of the issues on the PC are not real issues as there are lots of mods to be had and maybe that's causing some people's problems.

It is also known that there is a tyre bug across all three platforms when using the drive out option when exiting the garage to the track.

I'm going to stick with my ps3 version. I want no part of the saving issues on the PC. Maybe I wouldn't have any, but there's a chance. At least the ps3 version plays and saves the way it should and minus some graphical woes, its alot of fun.

Thanks, that's all I needed to know. It will be a PS3 version.
