I recently bought a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 GSR MR.I had first bought it to replicate a FQ-400 Lancer,which I had accomplished by adding a Stage 1 Turbo,Racing Brakes,Racing Exhaust,Displacement UP,Racing Suspension (Full Customize),Full Customize Transmission,Lightweight Stage 3,Roll Cage and Stage 3 Clutch and Flywheel.
At a total of 408 horses with no oil change,it was a great replica of the FQ-400.I bought used black rims from the GT Auto Tody's Special category to authenticate it more.I then adjusted the settings bit by bit until everything was perfect. The 0-62 MPH time was correct (3.5 on the nose). The horsepower number was 3 HP off,but close enough. The Top Speed was perfect (175 MPH) and it all matched up nicely with the true-to-life suspension. This in itself was overkill.I was murdering cars with 3 times the cylinders I had!The AWD was perfect with Racing Super Soft or Racing Medium tires going around Cote' D' Azur 2 laps in the family cup races.I finally decided I wanted to experiment so I modded the whole thing out."Original" suspension,Stage 3 Turbo (Stage 5 is less HP),Racing Intercooler,The works.I modified it to get the most from it and took it back to Cote' D' Azur for some test runs.Lo' and Behold my car can now beat cars like the Audi Le Mans quattro,Pagani Zonda-S,Mercedes SLR and Cadillac Cien by 15 or more seconds. Can we say,All Wheel Overkill?
This thing corners like a BEAST on Super Softs. It can take Cote' D' Azurs tight corners at 75 MPH (using a DS2) EASILY! Sadly,I can't post my settings since i restarted my game without saving them, but I do reccomend just fully upgrading this car and going all out with it.The exhaust note is AWESOME with the Racing Exhaust,FYI.
