AlloyCars is an American company that uses factory blueprints to rebuild brand new versions of historic cars. The best thing about this company is
Privately owned and operated, founded in 1996 by Ingo Poth, the AlloyCars team of eight automotive master craftsmen continue the re-creation of priceless works of automotive history.
This means that we can get a 550 Porsche without the Porsche rights.

Alloycars has taken the initiative to re-create the Porsche 550 Spyder using exact 3-D scan data of an original car as well as over 800 blueprints/sketches, drawings and hundreds of photos taken from each component of the original dismantled car.
Each of those components was re-cast and re-created as a mirror image of the original. These intricate components (most hidden under the body) make it impossible for even a seasoned Porsche expert to tell it apart from an original 550.
Alloycars is the only firm dedicated to re-create this car in every little detail.

The result is near perfect copies of the 550 Spyder.

I'll vote for anything that faithfully replicates a classic Porsche.
If it means we can get around the stupid Porsche/EA marriage rights, I'm all for it.

Voted 👍

Super nice, looks just like the real thing. How much does a replica like this cost compared to the real thing?

Well, a real 550 Spyder recently sold for $3.685 Million at an auction, but you can buy a Beck 550 Replica (can't find a price for this Alloycars replica) for around $40,000.

Pretty brilliant idea of getting some of the classic Porsche in game without legitimate licensing from Porsche themselves. I almost wonder if there would still be legal issues with this though?
