My reaction to winning after that amazing race.

 
Im sorry Anthony I did ask FH to check the specs dont want you to think it was him. Didnt see the top speeds but it just seemed like when I was trying to get close not only was I unable to, you acually were getting even farther ahead. Hope I didnt make you feel bad. You are a verry fast racer and you live up to the name unreal :).

Nice! Yeah I was watching those first 10 laps with you guys going back and forth was real fun to watch. I actually kept decent pace for a good part of the beginning, allowing me to take first place away temporarily since we were on different pit strategies. After my first pit, though, you guys took off by a fair margin and I never saw you again. GHS was 3/4 of a lap up on me by the end.

LOL Stormy you could have backed out of the track and actually watched the race... :D
 
Too bad I missed the cut off time, I was prepared for a good race. I had some really good tire wear, could go 11laps, maybe more. Oh well, next track I should be strong as well.

I was raking in 1:48's for this track in practice. Now I'm ever more p*ssed my connection issues struck again. Maybe the room was at too high a quality setting or something? I know FH tried something to help me stay, but if anything I DC'd quicker. It was such a disappointment.

Congrats to ghskilla and FlyinHawaiian on your positions. From the looks of the replays and the finishing, it was close a points. You both seem to have a habit of being in close races, you two. 👍
 
I should have come away with a comfortable win. My fuel strategy wasnt so great. It said I needed 27 for fuel to finish the race. For some reason I took it down to 10. What a bonehead move. I to make it last, but there was just no way it would happen at the end.

I know I won Daytona and SSR5 (I think that may've been preseason, though).

First race of the season was Daytona, then Suzuka. Monza was the third race.
 
Yeah, that's why I said SSR5 was preseason in my earlier post. I thought we counted those races too?
 
It wasn't counted, I think. It was mainly for testing LMP specs, right?
 
Weve counted them before in previous seasons. That's why I asked.

I think counting preseason would be confusing--not sure why we've ever counted them. Why not just call them season races. But either way Daytona for sure counts. You guys can take a vote about SSR5; I think Seca was preseason as well, but that race happens again later in the season.

Also new guy I'm adding you to reserves right now :)
