That joke's been stretched too long.

Toyota.

Perhaps we'll soon hear Ralf complaining that his floor mats are getting stuck under his pedals giving him 'unintentional mediocrity' ?

lol, well Lewis has claimed that McLaren would rather him win the title than Alonso...well...duh.

There is more evidence that Alonso is not going to Ferrari any time soon, as Ferrari boss Jean Todt has reiterated once again that there is no space for Fernando Alonso in his team.

And here is more evidence that Hamilton is staying at McLaren and Alonso is not:

McLaren just gave Hamilton a new 5 year contract worth $110 million dollars. In addition, Hamilton was quoted as saying he does not want Fernando Alonso as his teammate next year.

With one driver receiving a new 5 year contract, and another who's boss has said publicly that he would be more than willing to let Alonso leave Mclaren at the end of the season... I seriously doubt we will see Alonso in a McLaren next year.

Wow, Hamilton's really gotten himself a seat of power if he can decide who does - or doesn't - get to drive alongside him next year. I don't really care where 'Nando goes, I'm just curious as to who gets his seat. The names Button and Rosberg and a few others have been thrown around, but they're all under contract for next year and while breaking it is possible, it's certainly very difficult (just as JB; it would take a hell of a lot to get him out of that Honda seat).

And Alonso gives his clearest indication yet that he will not be staying at McLaren next year..., talking to Spanish radio station SER....

"I'd be delighted if I didn't carry on with Hamilton. If we are not together next season and I can go to a good car, then great"

Article...

And Jean Todt gives what will surely kill off any and all speculation

"No, zero percent, zero percent, zero"

Lewis Hamilton has also confirmed he does not want the Spaniard to be his team-mate next season

"I don't know who else would slip in here, but I'd much rather it were Fernando in a Ferrari and me in a McLaren," he told reporters.

Anyone think Nico Rosberg will move to McLaren, giving Fisichella the empty seat at Williams while Fernando returns to Renault? I just can't wait until Nico gets a top-flight car. He will seriously fly.

I really hope so...he's been the furthest in terms of rumours (with some papers having said he was in talks with McLaren as early as last month)

Kovalienen :)

McLaren do have a habit of being "Finn" magnets...but I'd still hope for Nico.

Well, after all, Nico's father is the first ever Finnish F1 World Champion Keke Rosberg, so... ;)

Keke's a finn? I thought Nico's a German, considering how the german TV hails him as the best german driver on the grid... And he gives interviews in fluent german.

Thats because he is German, his father is Finnish.

Now thats crap your talking. He is also finnish but he talked German all his live and he lives in Germany i believe.

Nico was born in Germany, and he races under a German racing license. EDIT: Williams list his nationality as German.

Keke is Finnish.

Therefore German:D

Ja

Everyone who says Nico is Finnish is correct, but so is everyone who says he's German. He has both Finnish and German passports. Information from Keke himself. :)

I claim he's Monacoian. He lived there quite a while... :p

But German, Finn or Monacoian - he's a bloody fast driver.

He speaks English, German, Italian and Spanish fluently, and is learning Finnish.

Everyone knows, that when he does good he is Finnish and when he (rarely) does bad he is German.

:)

A bit like DC. He's British when he's winning, and Scottish when he's doing badly.

Monegasque.

First three are for the teams. First four are for the ladies. Finnish is for the sauna operator.
