AM and playing online... I can't... :(

Ok so I finally got around to getting the PS2 Network Adpater tonight. It configured like a breeze, everything went flawlessly, and I thought "Great! I'll be racing online in no time!" Not so fast says Auto Modellista apparently. I can create a user account fine, but when I go back to the screen where it has "go online" on top, and "edit account" below, I cannot move my cursor up to the "go online." I don't know why, I even tested the connection and it said everything was fine. I even tried disabling the firewall and everything on my Microsoft Wireless Base Station which it runs through. I just don't know what to do. Again, let me say that it set up perfectly through the Sony setup, but I cannot select "go online" I do not know why. :rolleyes:

did u try to plug da ps2 na directly into da cable/dsl modem?
do u have any other online games? if yes how do they work?
also try to make another connection setting in AM, that's what i did and it works perfect now, i got a lisksys 4 port router/wireless ap running my home network

No, I did not try that but I will now. Even if that works it isn't going to help me much, that will be kinda awkward having to do that everytime I want to play online. There must be a way to get it to work throught the router :banghead:

I'll report back after I try what you suggested.

Oh yeah I forgot to report back. I got it working, my ISP could see it on their servers, so it wasn't them. I had to call Capcom, and I finally got it sorted out. It was just something that I was doing wrong I guess.

When racing online, how do you use "boost" I see some races it is allowed, but how do you use it, because I always get smoked in races with it.

Is anyone else having problems logging on to the servers to play the game, I know my network connection is working fine, but when I put in my password to log on, it only gets up to 10% before it stops, and goes no further, and then when I tried to edit my account, the website wouldn't load. I just wanted to know if anyone else was having problems, or if its just me.
