I genuinely believe that I have an obsession with the 458 italia. Like it's borderline abnormal. Anytime I see someone on here saying it's bad or they can't drive it I have to leave a comment. I think about the car and all the sudden I get the urge to stop whatever I'm doing and drive it. If I see a picture of it I damn near drool. I saw one in real life and almost drove off the road. I think I know what true love feels like...lol. But seriously, is it wrong that I love this car so much? And does anyone else?

Don't love it that much but I can understand you're obsession. I wish I had that kind of passion for a car in GT. You're lucky. 👍

At least, it's a phenomenal car.

I've got that passion for a couple cars, but not the Italia. I'm not hating on it, just not my cup of tea. But I will say I understand where you're coming from. Don't worry, it's okay, no need to join caroholics anonymous.

EDIT: 400th post! w00t w00t:lol:

The 458 is easily the car I've driven the most so far (Considering I haven't done an endurance race yet).
It's true, I believe it's insanely fun to drive, and I'd love to have one for myself anyday.

But, it isn't the exact same feeling, yet I know how you feel.

That car blows.

You know, Its in the new transformers movie.... But yeah i think you do have a problem, but hey, love makes you do crazy things ;)

Haha I'm glad some of you understand. Obviously I exaggerated a little but I really do just love that car. And I'm now about 10x more excited for that movie. But if they crash it I will hunt down Michael Bay and...nevermind.

Good. Just as it should be. Btw are any of you guys knowing enough to be able to tell me how I could get a wallpaper of the 458 with the black roof and dark 5 spoke rims? I can't seem to find one and it doesn't seem to be easy to search. Any help would be appreciated 👍

I don't love it as much as you seem too...but it is a fantastic car...one of my favorites.

Don't like the inside of it...ugh. Nothing special when it comes to driving it. Looks good on the outside though. The 430 Scuderia is superior. Enzo has the best interior IMO.

I had a similar thing with the Mine's Evo VI, not quite as bad, just that if I happened to be playing GT5 already I found it hard to actually progress because I was doing free runs and one make races in it all the time for about a week. Great car.

I have the same feeling with the Jaguar XJ13, I even named an email address after it!

I did the exact same thing with the Cappuccino. Ever since I saw it in the game and drove it, I've been obsessed with it. I've already found several listings for it and am now trying to figure out any loopholes that would let me drive it legally in the States.

I can even imagine the headlines
"Videogame persuades man to buy car"

Also, a few months ago I figured out my forum name could stand for The Cappuccino Enthusiast. I'm freakin' obsessed with this car. I even gave mine a nickname.

I have this obsession with the Nissan GTR SpecV. 4 Different ones and each one has at least 1.5kMiles on it. Got the Togue, Circuit, Drift, and cruise car that has easy settings and moderate power so non little whimp in a SLR thinks he can just blow right past me. I literally look forward to coming home JUST to drive my GTR. I need help indeed, I will refer you to my cold turkey.

I've never understood what's so special about it. It looks good, it has a lot of power and it drives almost perfectly. Oh wait.

I love it too. It may not perform to the level of the 430 Scud, but I love how well it performs while being more docile in general.

Strange... from my experience the Italia is better than the Scuderia in all aspects :)

Yeah idk where all you guys are coming from with the scud being better. Without a doubt the scud is a great car and it drives on rails, but if both are in stock form and driven well, the 458 will annihilate.

The Ferrari 458 Italia is also my favorite car in GT5!

In stock condition it's 7 seconds faster than the 430 Scud on the Nurburgring (7:24 vs 7:31, all stock with SH tires and no aids, but ABS1).

The 458 is a not as balanced as the 430 Scud or the 430/SP1, and the interior isn't as good but it's still very predictable and controllable when it looses the rear end. It is a very close match to both the Nissan GT-R SpecV and the Ford GT. But the GT-R is sooo boring to drive, it feels like it has built-in Traction Control and the Ford GT is a lot more twitchy and unpredictable.

Well i have kinda obssesion for all BMW cars , no matter if they are old or new, i just like the style of BMW , i have only owned BMW in real life. But its just me ;)
