at the beginning of the Tokyo Enduro, as it does every endurance race, the computer put my GT-ONE Road Car into auto-pilot. to my surprise, as all the other cars were staying in the same place relative to each other, i was moving ahead. i rear-ended the Raybrig, and then the CPU swerved me around the Pennzoil GT-R before letting me take over. i did try a qualify, but just to test my transmission settings, so i didn't finish the whole lap. i was in 6th at the beginning of the "Auto Drive" stage, then, at the starting line, i was in 4th. (the same thing happened to my F1 on the Seattle 100) ??
GT-ONE Road Car -- Stage 4 Turbo, completely normal, no sharkage on the game (or the card, for that matter)

This will happen. The Auto-drive will ineffect utilize the accelerator to a given point. Often times in an amazingly overpowered car, (Such as your Gt-one set-up) you will pass the other cars before the start of the race.

Maybe you are using too much car. Ever think of de-tuning it to enjoy a close race?

In essence, your car is fast. Want to see how fast you are, try out some of the OLR. It's a humbling experience.

Umm i positive that it does have a rolling start. I just did it a few days ago to prove the "Opinions ~ Handling Degredation?" thread.

I'm not intering one either. ;)

And j2s, you certainly have an overpowered car... the JGTC cars are no match for the purpose-built LeMans Protype cars... either 'dumb-down' your GT1 a bit, or buy yourself a car that is similiar in P/W ratio to the JGTC cars.

but i want to skunk the crap out of them.
it's fun.
after you've already beaten the race with a reasonable car, of course.
