Am I the luckiest GT5 player ever?

I have been grinding to 4.8 million CR for the past...week? I have checked the used car dealership after every race to see if I would miss the Formula GT...it never appeared.

I completed the race to give me over 4.8 million CR, quit to home screen, used car dealership....it's there!!! I have enough money by 28,273 CR to buy it and it is mine.

Absolutely true, I promise I am not making this up :) - I feel pretty fortunate!
 
You only need to check once every five races or events to make sure you see all the cars that appear.

I just have to get 300k more and then I'll check if it is available for me or if I have to do the B1-B5 thing ...

it wasnt there for me i'm up to 6 million now and at lvl 26 and still no sign ! can I borrow yours for a day after you have used it ? I will give it back + a race car for the trouble. :)

You're not the luckiest. I was at the end of 23 with over 4.8 mil and figured I'd grind to hit 24 just in case it shows up again.

So I only have to grind about 6 races, and then hit 24 then went back to playing B spec and after one series I checked the used lot and it was there. Right after I decided it was a good idea to go ahead and hit 24. If I kept playing b spec like I originally was, I would've missed it.

Anyways that was a few days ago and have yet to start the event. haha

just to be plain - i am lucky because it was there in the dealership IMMEDIATELY at the time I had the money for it - yes, I realise that I was grinding up the cash for it, but I think that misses the point, somewhat.

As for the OP - I reached 4.6million credits yesterday then the FGT appeared. I quickly did a couple more races to have enough but it disappeared. It really is the gag of the century on PD's part. Thanks for that 👎

This exact same thing happend to me, and I hit level 24 on the same race.

I also have a B-Spec driver with my real life name.

I am the luckiest GT5 player ever

Not I don't think your that lucky tbh, but I also don't think we should have to grind races or have to wait for a car to become available.

I'd much rather see a players dealership where we can put our old cars up for sale and others can buy them (no auctions mind).
 
Same here, hit 24 , did the dream car championship to get 4.6+ million (what I thought it would cost), ended up with 4.918 million, it costs 4.8 something and is there the very first time I check the used dealer.
 
I would consider the OP lucky. I had reached level 24 around day 350. I didn't have the money for the FGT and it shows up right after i leveled to 24. After getting the money I would check the used car lot after every 5 races like it was my job. I did the license refresh thing lord know how many times. Well finally got the FGT on day 750! WTF!!! 400 some days till it showed back up.

I don't know if what I did made it show up or if it showed up on its own. But I had around 7 mill saved and wanted to buy some cars. I bought the Enzo and was just in free run having fun with the understeer than massive oversteer car. Checked the used car lot no FGT. Did the license refresh and there it was.
 
Good timing!

I'm at about 3.5 million right now, just about to hit level 25 and I haven't seen it in the used cars yet. If it happens to pop up now I'll be selling off some of the garage to get the last of the $ I need.

You know that 400 days at a refreshrate of 6 cars pr day equals 2400 cars in the used car database?

So theoretically you must have missed it several times between day 350 and 750 ...

Just saying ...

Or it means the random Used Car lot is... random.
 
I think I'm even luckier because I was able to do some research, find a list of all the cars and what day they'll show up in the used car lot, make enough money while racing for fun with my thumb up my butt waiting for the day to arrive when I can buy my desired car. Have fun cycling B-1 -----> B-5 for hours on end though. That sounds fun too.

It's not random, but some cars show up more frequently than others.

Let's say we have cars A,B,C. They show up in the used car lot as:
A,C,B,B,B,C,C,A,B,C,A.... then starts repeating that same order. 3 actual cars would generate a list 11 cars long.

Hope this makes sense. Excel files are out there to tell you what days all of the cars will show up, do your research and you'll find one.

got my fgt as well today, i took the rest of my credits to buy a enzo and a littlebit tuning and i finally got the trophy for no money left lol
