first of all im not "high, buzzing, or triping"!! just thinking...

what if your life is just a dream of someone/something else and everything around you is fake. just part of the dream and when you die is when you really wake where every you really are. how long you live here determines how long you live there and so on. it just keeps going on like this. weather its you die fast and live long there or live long here live long there...who knows?its all just someone/something elses dream.

am i crazy or just thinking outside the box?

You're crazy. It's far more plausible that your life is your dream, and everyone and everything else is fake.

that must be where i got that idea from:banghead: now that i think about it is alot like the matrix. i hated that movie too. cool fights but thats it... in my opition.
 
I've kind of thought your thought, too. (Okay, call me crazy.) But it does remind me of an episode of the Twilight Zone where every night this man dreams that he is sent to prison (innocently) only to die in the electric chair every time without escape. Both thoughts, yours and the Twilight Zone's are equally scary.

Or he is. And is discussing the dream of his creator (God, Allah, Large Elephant, Giant Clapping Monkey, etc.). If that is the case, I'll retract my earlier statement.

i think there must be to life then just one person created EVERYTHING and told everyone what they can't do and if you don't do these things you get into heavan and thats it. the end. there must be more to it.
 
I thin kyou need to go back and watch the Arnold movie "Total Recall"

Basic synopsis, "Arnold bets a memory implanted that shows him saving the world, and getting the girl in the end"

SOmethign goes wrong with the implant scenario, and the operators say a previously hidden memory had been tripped. Apparently Arnold was working so dep undercover, that he didn't know he was undercover. So lots of explosions and gunfights later, there is a scene with the director of the implant factory that tells Arnold he is dreaming, and all this is in his mind. He's dreaming everything up as a latent effect of his new memory implant. More gun fights, and explosions. The end scene of the movie is Arnold saving the planet, and getting the girl.

The question remains...Is it real, or is he still back at the operating table, lying in a coma?

Begs the question "Is it live or is it Memorex?"

That was an neat movie. Saw it like 5 times.
 
That's a very philosophical thought you have there..

Personally, I don't believe that there's a higher one watching all of us. However, I do believe in afterlife, because..... what can a person do after they're dead? "respawn" as another person, maybe as a newborn child? I doubt it happens. I think life is like a cycle too, except that in every cycle, we are humans, living on different 'plains'.
 
I used to blieve in reincarnation, but that kinda boggles the mind, how you know you had a past life, but can't remeber it. Also, what if you end up in a dysfunctional family, or as a rabbit. I figure that it probably doesn't happen. halfracedrifts' idea is more along the lines of what I believe.
