Am i? It just doesn't give me that excitement anymore like it used to.

You need to do some new stuff. The game itself in the usual manner gets boring quite quickly due to the easy career mode.

Try doing as I do - if I crash a car hard enough for it to realistically be wrecked or at least need a huge repair to drive again, I have to sell it. Doesn't matter whether it's a Mazda MX-5 or a Lamborghini Miura, I have to sell it or discard it from my garage.

Not sure that would promote a renewed interest.

No, what i do when i get bored is start from amateur/beginner a-spec races, and build up so i complete more and more of the game, its great to give you something to do, atleast you earn something aswell

Change game then. On ps3 you could buy Dirt 2 for cheap, it has good graphics and it's fun.

If you have a good pc and you are not used to modding platforms like rFactor you can buy Race Injection or GTR Evolution from Simbin. You can find them on raceroom.net.

Hmm when was the last time you did a Rally? maybe make some stages using the course creater? or a Nascar event or Bought new cars and set power lap times around the Top Gear Test Track or Race Mod a car or buy a car and tune it up or raced on line.. etc.

Sometimes when I'm a little bored I'll pick a car from the dealership or UCD and then see if I can find a video review of it's real life counterpart on YouTube and then test drive the one in game...

There is so much to do! or maybe you just need a break.

Nice, those are all great ideas.

Recently, watching Top/Fifth Gear or any other "thing" that features cars "renews" my interest in testing out more cars.

Honestly, I haven't cared to Race Modify any cars since I've owned GT5 at launch. Race cars aren't my thing, but I'm going to start using the open cockpit race cars (LMP whatevers :)), which I haven't tried since the standard cars got the upgrades. I STILL haven't tried the Veyron nor the Enzo. The McLaren's, I only tried once of each well over a year ago. The Course Maker I used to try all the time, and online hasn't taken up that much of my playing time. I grind Seasonal Events RARELY.

I'm not bored of GT5. I've become anxious of waiting for the next update, mainly because it was supposed to come in April.

I spend most of my time hotlapping Nurburgring during sunrise and sunset. When Spec 2 was released, I spent most of my time doing hotlaps on 30-50% "wet surfaces" only after learning how and getting used to drifting on Kart Space.

Ehh, that's all. I've yet to grow bored of using GT5's features.

Thank goodness for custom soundtracks. I'm not aware of any other game that has that during gameplay, besides Modnation Racers I think. It takes up RAM/space during gameplay, so I wonder what more they could have done if they hadn't included it.

Ohhh how I love GT5.....

:D

I'm not bored at all, actually getting quite busy with so many leagues to race in, test, setup and practice.

Looking forward to next update and/or DLC though.

Im not bored I have the fgt championship to do and all but the indy 500 endurence races to do and licences in between.

Online racing is where all the fun is at if you can find clean drivers to race with.

Online can help you stay interested. If you're really bored then maybe you should take a break form it, play some other games and then come back to it.

If you haven't down everything then try to, it can become pretty addicting.

Im not bored as iam a tuning drag racer of the game. Me and freinds just started tuning cars that people rarly use to drag.

Ive just found out that the dcl Aston Martin is a supra killer just by snooping around the dealer and experimenting on cars...people are asking me which car is that....lol.

I guess you just have to be into something or have a good gt life online. No creative freinds or freinds can hurt...lol

If I had a penny for every "Bored of GT5" thread that's been posted here, I'd have a lot of pennies.

Locked. Sorry. Please search next time.
