I've finally found a cure for the GT-One!!! :)

If you are into the Hybriding-deal, just swap the engine with any of the GT500 Nissan GTR's engine...

You can start thanking me :)

Sure it won't be as powerful or fast, but it will have a more realistic sound and HP 👍

Or just mute your game audio and play a 787b revving through your speakers. Problem solved and keeps performance.

Or just quit crying and drive it. Theres always that option.

You can increase the HP of the GT-R GT500 engine.

I did the same with the Sauber C9 by putting a Ford Falcon XR8 V8 in it and increasing the power by editing it. Thank you roostacogburn and all the other people for the recommendation.

That's going to be my second hybrid :)

So far new GT-One is sitting at 668HP, I'll have to find a way to raise it a little bit more... but I wouldn't mind leaving it the way it is right now. I love it again :)

The Sauber C9 was probably my favorite car in GT4 and sound was to die for. In GT5, the C9 sounds like a trip to the dentist and it saddens me :(

On the upside, the XJ13 and P330 sound terrific as do some of the group C cars such at the R92.

If you are into Hybriding, you can do what BlameAuntJemima and I did: Swap the Engine of the Ford Falcon to the C9... believe me, in less that 10 minutes, the problem of the engine sound is solved :)

I'm not encouraging to do hybriding, but it's a way of solving this... the call is yours... 👍

I gave the Sauber C9 the Nascar engine, I forgot which one exactly, but it sounds amazing, and it has like 1,000+HP.

How did you get the sound to work? I tried doing that, but the sound was the same except the the volume of the engine sound was lowered and the transmission whine was louder.

I thought that happened because it was a naturally aspirated V8 instead of a turbocharged V8.

EDIT: Actually don't say how you did it because I don't want you to get in trouble.

I love the C9. Great fun to drive and looks great. If it doesn't have the right engine sound, I can understand people not liking it, but I don't really care. ;)

If you're not against using hacks, you can always change the engine of the C9 and so on to more realistic sounds or ask someone to make one for you (they'll need access to your save file though). The sounds did my head in and the C9 is one of my favourite cars so I changed the sound and now its beautiful. :D
