Was just browsing the web the other day, looking for a nice diecast model to put on my shelf. Didn't find what I was looking for, not in my price range anyway. What I did find though, is some impressive stuff.
Don't know how many of you that are familiar with Amalgam, but when I found their stuff I just had to share it with you guys. They make mostly 1/8 scale models, with a stunning level of detail, but also other stuff, such as F1 steering wheel replicas and yacht models. They actually laser scan each car to help make an exact replica of the full scale version.
Just to make one thing clear though, these models are not for the ordinary guy, but rather for, as they describe it themselves; "for designers, manufacturers and high-end collectors worldwide." Still pretty amazing though.
