Old animation. This one was used for promoting nvidia I believe, but could be mistaken.
There are dvds for sale with a lot of this sort of music animations called Animusic.
Just search for 'animusic' on youtube for more of these wonderfull animations.

Yeah, this is fairly old, at least 7 or 8 years. They are great videos to watch though, and I do have both DVDs. This one is my favorite:

The people that made this used to sell music cds. I always saw the commercial and thought about buying the cds but never did. Sure is really awesome to watch. They actually had quite a few different videos. The annimations look so real.

Both at Best Buy for 20 bucks each.
