American Championship (A-spec) & Ford GT LM Spec II

So i'm halfway through lvl 23, a-spec. I've done every event gold on the first 4 tiers, done Schwarzald B, like the wind, NASCAR (except daytona), European Championship & Super GT all gold. This leaves me with German Touring Cars, American Championship, FGT and dream car left. I have 4m, no german touring cars, no FGT, and half a level too short of the dream car event.

So I have a few options and was wondering what you people advise:
1) Grind to level 24 (would like the wind be best?), complete dream car championship with tuned minolta (would this work?), win the Ford GT LM Spec II and complete American Championship (again, would the car win if tuned?)

2) Buy a new car (ZR1 RM i think people talk about) for the american championship, then grind on that to lvl 24.

Or other options. Which is best, and what are the answers to the questions in brackets? Cheers
 
Thanks for clearing up how easy it'll be davie, makes option 1 pretty viable. Bearing that in mind i'll probably save up money rather than splashing out on the vette. That said though, best way to grind to 24?
 
Buy a 2010 Camaro and race mode it and do the American Championship. You get 98,000 credits and some fairly good xp for five lap races.
 
Probably NASCAR if u did the the NASCAR special event (u get a free NASCAR) ...there's a good thread somewhere to setup for it, 4 easy races 45k per race 228k for winning series, takes about 30 mins.

This a good option also but I didn't start grinding it till after dreamcar, used the GT40 LM spec (untuned) from that to do it with.

Edit: should add the dreamcar nets 74k a race and I think 336k for the series, should have u over the 5mil

NASCAR event is a bit frustrating though - tyres tend to make it a bit difficult. Is like the wind a bad option?
 
indianapolis in the american championship gives you 98.000 Cr and 4400xp every 4min of the game so do just 9 race and you have more money than ever ;)
 
Like the Wind gives 70k and 3.6k every 3:30, and i dont have to make up money spent on a (n awesome) vette. Will grind on that, just with the Ford GT.

The 88c-v pretty much win anything, was bob's most used car till I got the FGT.
NASCAR is alot easier than first appears just in the setup, max downforce on wings and buy racing softs that pretty much solves that event.

Strela's way works as well, any money u spend now on a car for it is made back in only a few races 98k for 5-6 mins works, up to you mun, whatever gives you greatest pleasure :D

My saving habits wont let me buy a new car unless its better in the long run - this prolly isnt quite :D.

How do you set downforce again? Chassis settings in tuning?

I am now the proud owner of the vette fully modded and upgraded, even sprayed it yellow in your honour :D
 
i was hoping painting it would spray most the car yellow so it could at least almost resemble the GM Factory GT2 cars.
 
i´m grinding the indie with the chap. 2J

it´s pretty good because i can make a m in 40mins

but:
i´ve got some questions:

- how can i mod the colour and the number of the car i´upgrading at the gt-
paintshop?^^
-what car can i win at 1. the fgt
2. the dream car event?

- you can only change the number while in your garage and it might not be available to to all cars with numbers.

- FGT, can't remember

- don't know yet.
