none,because my 1st 4 rrod'ed
I have a lot of grinding to do over the next few days and haven't beat the American Championship yet(I don't know how, completely overlooked it and moved on LOL).I used the search but I know in one of the updates the credits were changed and then changed back again(maybe they changed?),so what are the current credits you get for the 3 races?thanks.

Indy is 97,700 i think, did it a few times today. Used the non premium ford gt lm spec ii or whatever it's called (slighlty different name than the premium carbon version) and it took a little less than 4 min iirc. If you're interested in just grinding i think thats one of the better cars to use.

I use a Corvette ZR1 race Moded and it is very good to turn ABS off and barkes to 0 to make faster laps. I think the carbon Ford GT can make faster laps.

The thing about the ZR1 RM is that you have to use the brakes and put in some effort if you want to use it to grind. The beauty of the GT I mentioned is you just hold the accelerator down and turn so it's slightly less cumbersome to grind with. I think I tested both once and the Ford is only a little slower than the ZR1 but its laptimes are within a couple seconds. So it only makes the race like 10-15 seconds longer if I remember right.

This is the car I'm talking about:

It's a prize car with slightly more HP and slightly less weight than the similar carbon premium model plus I don't care about putting all the miles on it. I'd rather keep my nice premium model in better condition.

not true about zr1. Never have to use my brakes on the zr1 RM. Just pure easy turns and never have to lift my foot off the gas pedal.

I'm sure you are right. It was a long time ago I did the test, I don't remember if I had tuned the ZR1 or not tuned it or what but I tested both and the Ford was easier for me. The ZR1 could well be the better car, did you change the suspension settings or are they stock?

Before applying one of the setups scattered in the Tuning Forum, yeah I agree that you need to brake.

The ZR1 RM is, in my opinion by far the best car for the job. I have grinded hours and hours of Indy in my Vette and is by far my most used car in the game.

Once you run the car in and increase BHP to 900+, take off all assists, including ABS, increase downforce all around, and increase the trans settings, then there is no need to brake at all. Just ease off in corners 1 and 2, and get the right line in 3 and 4. Doing this I have set a fastest lap of 42.7sec, albeit with plenty of practice.

I must add, for all those laps of Indy, my ZR1 is by far my favorite vehicle!

Personally with the Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car I can do 41.5 sec laps fairly regularly with no braking, slowing down at all. I doubt there is a faster car for the Indy grind.

Doing 40.7 - 40.8 laps with my ZR1.... :sly:

The NASCARs can also be used with the right setup. They do have a bit of understeer but you will stay out of the wall most of the time.

I don't recall tweaking much on the suspension. Just like you, I've done the tuning for this zr1 a long time ago. I do recall messing around with the transmission though as I was pretty much running with all aids off.

less rear downforce on the rm vette gets rid of understeer if you are having that issue :) also helps top speed slightly.

I momentarily grind the Lambo events (Trial Mountain and/or Nürb).
Gives you 143k/159k per Race and is about 7minutes(Trial)/7:11(Nürb)

=> Indy is 3minutes plus a few seconds for 97k
=> 2times = 7minutes and 193k (approximately)

Its more fun with the Lambos xD (I do grind Indy sometimes though)
