The best shoes I ever owned were the $20 Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars (Chucks).

I had them all through high school and they outlasted two pairs of leather Nike sneakers. Heck, the only reason I got rid of them was I outgrew them.

Yeah, I won a pair of black and white chucks aswell, but I got them for $30. Good shoes too. Durable, comfortable, and sexy. :sly:

BTW: my shoe size is 14 American. :)

I'd like more clothing that just fits and is comfortable. I don't wanna worry about price or brand too much.

What do you guys think of American Eagle? Does any body shop there at all? I wanted to get some stuff from Hollister but too many people are playing it out

Is it just me or :boggled:?

Clothes are clothes to me. If I like the look then that's that.

The only people who still shop at American Eagle Outfitters in my neck of the woods are 14-year old girls. And I wouldn't be caught DEAD in either Hollister or Abercrombie & Fitch. How can anyone stand to be in either of those stores for more than fifteen seconds? There's the clientele, which sadly consists mostly of - you guessed it - young teenage girls (and a few guys), not to mention the disgusting perfume / cologne they have pumping through the ventilation systems in their stores, which only reminds me of how stinky and gross 95% of the people shopping there actually are.

Sorry, I was starting to rant a little there. Nice jeans.

I believe that I've managed to buy two articles of clothing from AE. A dark blue fleece sweater that I often wear for work, and a vertical striped white button up shirt. I can't stand most of the tripe at AE... I don't see the point of "pre worn" or clothes, save for slight fading on jeans. Most of the shirts I see in there are branded with the AE logo, name, and other giant graphics. Not my style. You're supposed to pay for advertising, not be paid.

I go into AE occasionally to see what they have, but I mostly shop at Bluenotes, Bootlegger, and Tip Top Tailors. I occasionally go into Randy River, but haven't actually bought anything there in ages. Oh, and I usually visit Sport Chek or Sport Mart for shoes, or Mark's Work World for steel-toes.

I feel this store along hollister and abocrombie are too preppy and "pop-your-collar' and unreasonably expensive. This is just me but im not preppy so I dont like those stores. Also I cant get over how they sell (not that you bought some) ripped worn jeans for like 70 bucks, thats really gay. Do what I do, buy some levis or wrangler jeans and just wear them and do stuff in them, they will eventually wear down and rip. my last pair of jeans I had were 10x better than any name brand jeans and they were like 10 to 15 bucks, they even had the ripped/ worn look after a few bmx falls and jackass stunts.

BTW: Im more of a Hot-topic(Im not goth or emo), pac-sun, or target kind of guy.

Hell yeah dude.

There's a store near me called Gordman's and they have AE and some other high end brands for really cheap. Good place if you want "cool" clothes for cheap.
