I've just noticed something. On the live scoring they don't have the Ford GT40 in GT2.

Edit: Nevermind, again.

I think the #90 has the GT win secured, unless Patrick Long pulls off some amazing laps which I don't see happening. Oh well, 8th to 2nd is not bad, and it shows how fast the M3s are. Great race! 👍

The top 4 GT cars are once again closing up. I think its going to be a very close race at the end.

EDIT: never mind the lizard is losing time. while the vette is closing up.

Oh No the mad turbo is out, I was supporting that for the win. I should stop supporting stuff to win....

...best not of been hit by a golf either.

Patrick Long, you are a legend! Oh. My. God! After 6 hours it came to this, unbelievable!

Go Flying Lizards!

Too many yellow flag pace cars. I didn't see much that couldn't have been delt with under local yellow.

If memory serves in the first ALMS season there was one safety car period in the entire season.

Weeeeoooowww... What a phenomenal race

Congratulations to everyone. All the drivers did a magnifiscent job to keep us entertained. Happy to see BMW 2nd in GT2 class. Ah well :) Lost the pos to Long...

EDIT: See you guys in a month time for the 24 Hours of LeMans :)

Ah man! I had to bail after 3 and a half hours due to the crappy connection here, I've just woken up and realised the epic conclusion to the race! I sort of figured it would have a mad finale like that...as much as I love the Corvettes, the Flying Lizards are kings right now. Great racing throughout, was perhaps harbouring for a potential GT overall victory...I've never seen that before, has it ever actually happened?! 💡

Still, fantastic racing, and great job all of you for making it such fun on here for the time I was able to watch/listen to it! Great discussion, and a fantastic race - man, I've missed full-blooded sportscar racing! :sly:

Congrats to the Flying Lizards, and well done to BMW, they did much better than I perhaps thought they would...anyone wanna take bets for Le Mans?!

Speaking of which, just checking the entry list for Le Mans...what a field in store this year, incredible. Disregarding the tech demoes at the front of the field, there's fantastic fields in all the classes, and my God the Aston Martin prototype looks the bees knees... But thats for then. For now, thanks guys for making the Laguna Seca 6 Hours such a pleasure, it was a lot of fun while it lasted :D

I left after about 1 1/4 hours, I was just too tired to stay up for it all and the race wasn't 'significant' enough for me to loose more sleep over.:guilty: As the usual punishment goes, I miss epic battles. Especially in GT:(. I'll try to catch highlights or something later.
