As for pit strategy I think if it isn't clarified in the OP you can't really penalize for say, exiting the pits and crossing the white line. In the LMES race last night I was cut off by a pit exit at least once, much like the Tequila Patron Ferrari driver did at Long Beach. I get it's a jerk move, and I always am weary of traffic coming down the track, thus I stay out of the proper corner entry line while accelerating from the pits. However, I've never recognized the line on the asphalt as a lane, because I've never raced IRL and don't know the ins-and-outs of pit stops. I also would have no clue you need to follow the line into the pits as I usually just do as the game allows me with that. I figure the parts it wants me to follow will be automated.
I'm down with following rules for realism, but like I said they should be clearly stated as part of the official series rules because not all of us are that familiar with pit etiquette, aside from going slow in and yielding to faster traffic on exit.
