That was the first race ive had with absolutely no incidents, a clean run for once. The first stint was fun, i just stayed back and watched the top 3 go at it until they pitted. From there it was smooth sailing, 5 lap stints and it paid off.

After watching the replay though i have asked for a review of the final 5 laps, so we'll see.

On lap 2, braking for Mulsanne, did I lag for a minute?
I touched the brakes and then next thing I know I'm in the beach.

You did push hard, a little too hard. i saw many times in your final stint where you had all 4 wheels off the track. you were definitely fast throughout the race, but i knew you caught me too quickly in the final laps. Up until the last lap your fastest lap was a 4'02.1 and mine was a 4'01.7. Then you put in a 3'59.6, i really dont have to explain anything its all in the replay. I just want whats fair is all.

I just drove softly in this race. I wasn't too worried about winning. Although tension did rose when the laps ticked down.

Well you were right in front of me, it appeared that you just came in too hot or locked the brakes (which couldnt happen if you use ABS?). Your car seemed fine at first, then all i saw was the RUF getting sideways and lots of smoke. I came close to getting into you when that happened too.
 
That was a good race. I was putting in 3:42's and 3:43's in between my pits. I would go out lap, 2 hot laps, then in lap. Basically saving tires without having to worry about if they'd go bald by the time I got back to the pits. I made an extra stop at the end because I didn't trust that I had enough fuel, which ended up turning out pretty good because it slowed me down enough to have a little final battle with stormy. he got into me a couple times, but I still prevailed. It wasn't that bad, at least he waited for me.
 
Was it just me or was there a little lag in the lobby? Great battle between me an Pipi, and then against Seth at the end. Prety exciting! Managed to get 3:42.797 as my best lap. Also, what was up with GTP_potatochip and Troylee2601 during the pace lap? Did you guys not see each other or something?
 
Yeah in my mirrors they were bumping eachother.
 
Even Ronin85 w commented on it during the pace lap.
 
Mid to late race FH and Kevin had some really great battling! I was watching and rooting for my teammate, but it was very back-and-forth, heated battling for a few laps, and then a pit stop put them a little apart, until FH hit the wall. Luckily he wasn't injured though ;)
 
I have spa, also would like to race this track. Who doesn't have spa??

I was really trying to keep pressure on him in the turns so that he would make a mistake. But it seemed like he just let me by every time. Which wasnt good for me because I needed him to stay in front so I could use his draft.

That last part where I hit the wall, I kept saying to myself "Easy, Easy, EASY" then crash. :( I could have kept going. It wasnt a bad spin or anything. But the motivation just wasnt there.

Are you guys interested in just doing some spot races until we figure out whats next? I have Spa. One of my favorite tracks in the game. :)

I didnt really notice any issues with lag last night. Usually it likes to show up if I'm actually in a race with someone. Had none what so ever when I was going up against Kevin.

I wondered what Ronin was commenting on during the pace lap. The only LMP2 cars I could see were freshseth, stormy, Pipi, and Ronin.

Also, sorry to freshseth for disputing hp in practice/quali. I have no idea how you were running 6-8s quicker than the rest of LMP2, but you were clearly legit. 👍
 
My great prob in the race is the night, i always lost time, too many mistakes. my first time in le mans at night!!!
Lool then one mistake entry in the pits, one lap later and ruin my race, and the dispute with stormy for the second place... :sly:

I looked at the last 5 laps of replay pretty much, and I have to say I did cut some times, but barely by much. I doubt it really could be considered cutting them. 2 wheels at the apex max. corners. But not by much. I also saw Kevin cut a few too. Usually the sane way I did, if it is considered cutting at all. And Kev, in the final seconds you were letting off the throttle on the straight instead of passing me, why?

Oh and my 3:59 was a clean lap. :p

If he passed you, you could just draft by yourself.

That was exactly the case, I could not see potatochip. :odd:

Also maybe for the next time we wanna keep in mind that you cannot change the track anymore ones the room is created due to the tire bug. If you change the track your tires will not heat up properly anymore. 👎
 
Sinladar and me were having some interesting racing until I matrixed out of the room :(

I wanted to stay behind you until that final straight then pass you, but i ran out of time. Dont worry about the cutting stuff, its just a game and sometimes my competitive side gets the best of me. Overall it was a fun race, had battles with just about everyone. I do have Spa too if we decide to do something there.

I've got Spa too. How about a Kart Space race? Just kidding. That would be crazy.
