Is PSN down? I cant sign in for some reason. I checked for an update and it downloaded something, but still wont let me online.

This significant PSN maintenance period is expected to start at just after noon Pacific and will last for several hours, until approximately 2am Pacific on Monday, March 5. Unlike typical maintenance events, consumers who are already signed-in to PSN will be signed-out, and consumers will be unable to sign in for the duration of the maintenance window. During this time, users won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, Account Management or play online. PSN enabled websites will not be able to service users, including this one.

The PSN (or SEN now) is currently under maintenance. The scheduled time for the maintenance is from Sunday, March 4th at 3:00 pm to Monday, March 5th at 5:00 am. All times are EST US & Canada (GMT -5). The maintenance is scheduled to last 14 hours.

All users have been signed out and you cannot sign in, making online play on any game is impossible at this time.

You and your friend SHOULD NOT be able log in. You should be receiving the following error when you attempt to log in:

PSN Error
An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network. (80710D36).

If anyone is still connected, they should've been disconnected immediately. I do not see why you're still able to log in you PSN via your PS3.
 
Or you just won't get the update as fast as everyone. So no boss.

Updates? Too mainstream, everyone would have it.
 
How do you know it's not an update if the whole network is down? They're shutting the network down for maintenance, so what would it be for if there's no update?

My start was SO awesome.
But some guy took me out in T1 on lap 5 or so. End of my race. :/
Damn dive bombers.

Tower Turn 13
I was actually doing okay, avoiding the carnage. But I REALLY screwed my car in a moment of lapsed judgement, and my car overheated in the pits. I still haven't figured out a solution to once the car overheats. It won't restart at that point :(

That sucks guys, I knew St.Pete was gonna be a tough race. Survival was gonna be my strategy for this race, but my pedals didn't survive...
 
There is an Update (4.11 I believe) for the PS3 right now, but you have to manually download it.

Settings > System Update

I downloaded it and installed it as you can't sign in without the latest firmware version. However,it doesn't help with the current situation as the maintenance is still underway
 
I'm downloading an Assassin's Creed: Revelations patch right now O_o

Bathurst looks nice. But I have a feeling we will see "Bathurst SERIOUS DRIFTERS ONLY" lobbies. I'm sure thats what the creators of the track intended it to be for. :rolleyes:
