___---American Muscle Car Challenge---___
Yes, i am aware that i spelt the thread title wrong. Sorry.
Now, I made sure there were no other Muscle Car events like this in action, and there weren’t. One day, while cursing and swearing at Driving Mission 34,
I thought of making a challenge. This is designed for all who, like me, don’t have much to do in the game, and find tuning comps… for example DE’s 300mph club,
or Mafia_boy's 1/4 mile challenge. So, the details…
Tracks: This will have a few rounds, and I’ll start with…
• Seattle Circuit Normal
• Midfield Raceway Normal
• Suzuka Circuit East Short Course
After those 3, I might accept any track request from a user, depending on how it goes.
Cars. Note: All cars earlier than 1975 are classified ‘old’ and otherwise are new.
Buick:
Special ‘62
Callaway:
C12 ‘03
Chevrolet:
Camaro Z28 302 ‘69
Camaro SS ‘69
Camaro SS ‘00
Camaro ZR-1 C4 ‘90
Camaro IROC-Z Concept ‘88
Camaro Z28 coupe '97
Chevelle SS 454 ‘70
Corvette Grand Sport '96
Corvette Z06 C5 ‘00
Chrysler:
300C Hemi ‘05
Dodge:
Charger 440 R/T ‘70
Charger SuperBee Hemi ‘71
Viper GTS ‘99
Ford:
Mustang GT ‘05
Mustang SVT Cobra R '00
Mercury:
Cougar XR-7 ‘67
Plymouth:
Cuda 440 Six Pack ‘71
Superbird ‘70
Pontiac:
Tempest GTO ‘64
Shelby:
Mustang G.T. 350R ‘65
Cobra 427 ‘67
Supercharged Series 1 ‘03
If you think a car should be on the list but isn’t, let me know.
Tuning: Is limited to 600bhp, if you can go over. Wings are allowed, new rims are allowed, oil changing is allowed, and R3 tyres are to be used.
Driving aids are completely optional. You can do any performance upgrades you like, except Nitrous, and weight changing.
Post a pic of the ‘session record’ screen when you’re done. I prefer links (that way you don’t have to scroll down so much), and it wouldn’t hurt
to show a pic of the car’s power in the settings screen. If I’m suspicious, I’ll ask for a replay. The rounds will last plenty of time (haven’t decided yet),
so don’t stress about which car you should use. You may send one car's lap times per category, in one round. I've started to make a leaderboard, and shall update it as often as i can.
Apart from that, enjoy, and race!👍
