Notes: This setup was based off off of a set up i had in Forza 2 on an S2k that i've done well with.

This setup has some weaknesses and strenghts on this track that are very clear, the car like the corner before the long U sweeper (if u get the left tires on grass and stay on the rumble), the sweeper itself, and the corner after the sweeper.

as well it like the whole last scetion of the track starting with the very slow right hander, all the way to the last corner before the straight.

The cars weakness is the straight itself, get draft off of anything that passes you, and on some of the cars you can pass just before the breaking point for the 1st corner.

Hope people get some use out of this

PS: this car got me 1st on the Oval S class race too, and it might work well in other 680-700 races with alterations to the weight, power, and downforce

I would just recommend the Amuse S2000. I bought this car early on after the spec II update and I got 1st place by the end of lap 3 on S-7 and early lap 4 S-10 without pushing hard and lowered the car to -10. Its easy to do 1'40-1'42 laps on S-7 Fuji and this car is great around 100R. If you make it a 6 gear car in the game, it can keep pace better on the straights without loosing much, if at all.

I couldn't get the S2000 to keep up after tuning it at all. To be fair though I usually lighten the car as much as possible and lower the power to compensate, since the power to weight is the same but with the benefits of a lighter car... Obviously this means I get my arse kicked on the straights, which is a big disadvantage on Fuji S7 and Suzuka S10, lets be honest. I'm gonna try these settings because I find the Elise 111R a bit underpowered too, thanks!

tell me how it goes, im not a fan of running the lotus sence its a bandwagon car, we had those in Forza2 and its just like you go in an online room and you see somebody with one and you just think "oh goodie..." and it doesnt feel like you really won at least to me, there are people who think winning is winning no matter how you look at it, but ya, another thing i forgot to include is you need to run agressive, and i managed to pass the Amuse in 1st coming out of the last corner on the last lap, at that point i just blocked him

this may be all well and good for the fuji track but ive already done that in the lotus. The only track i am stuck on is the suzuka track. I have the s2000 gt1 turbo and i know it has got what it takes because every winner is the same but i cant get the tuning right, my best position has been 3rd, and that was in the lotus, and 6th in the s2000. im out by about 15 - 20 seconds every time!!! does anyone have a decent tuning set up for the suzuka track pp700 race, i dont care what car...... apart from the ferrari f1 of course!

Can anyone else confirm a 1st place with these settings? The highest I got was 9th =/ and I drove clean laps...I just cannot see how anyone can keep up with 1st in this car with these settings (didn't try before tuning so might just be the car) but I'm struggling to believe this makes it a winner at Fuji... And I really don't want to find out I wasted 250K when I was saving for the F40 initially.

Edit - Ok new best of 6th but still 18 seconds off the lead =/

Excellent settings Soullessvessell. 👍
I used them for S-7 Fuji and took the lead entering the S/F straight at the end of the second lap. Then had a scrap with the Tuned Corvette, losing down the straights but regaining in the turns, and despite a 4 sec penalty came out the victor. :)

Spike - do you have the driving line switched on ? You can be more agressive than the line suggests. ;)

P.S I set the gearbox for 6 gears, not 7.

id take a photo of my screen saying i got 1st on it but A) i dont have a comp and im using my PS3 B) that wouldnt prove that i used the S2k C) there is no accounting for the skill/prefrences of the driver this setting has worked for me and somebody else in no way do I say the set up works for everybody i litarally got the 1st place s2k in the last corner, its a bloody hard race and i had to restart a few times due to lack of concentration e3ct but it was done, sorry if it doesnt work for you spike, but ive said this to many people on forza and someone on here there is no such thing as a golden setup, what works for one, wont work for some

Hi Soullessvessel; I just got 2nd at S-10 with the same setup. With better driving I think this setup will get a win here as well. A fun drive. 👍:)

Personally with the car on professional physics I thought this setup made the car very numb to drive and not overly quick. Anyone else have issues with it? I havent tried it on standard so i guess its better on that?

I use it online with pro but I stay away from pro simple cause it goes nuts with the controler at least for me, but even then i get 3rd-2nd finish positions with it.

After struggling with this track for so long, This setup did it for me. Took a few races to get used to. Barely, made 3rd by the width of my license plate, but that was with several penalties(5 or 6). Most were at slow corners and breaking points so didn't have that much of an effect.

Tried the race a couple more times and managed 1st, alot seems to depend on the race order of the cars with this track. critically, 14th, 15th, 1st and 3rd getting past 14th and 15th during the 1st 1/4 of the track allows for some big leaps in placement during the chicanes. A slow lead car is a must, was the corvette for me with another s2000 in 3rd. On the final lap drafting the s2000 allowed for enough speed to pass it before the chicane, and cutting the grass (not enough for a penalty though) on the inside of the 2nd turn in the chicane allowed me to out accelerate 2nd and 1st out of the chicane. Rest of the course gives you a descent lead, but blocking may still be required on the final stretch.

This was one of the few races I couldnt even finish and this setup helped a ton, getting me my last needed gold.

Thanks again. :)

Finally finished S7 with your setup (1'41 laps) after struggling with that course for quite some time.
It's one of my favourite cars now with this setup, I really enjoy driving it, lots of fun.

Thanks for posting it :)

Can we hope to get the 6 gears? :sly:

I cannot believe that anyone with that settings finished lap 1 `40, i finished lap around
1` 50 which is impossiable to catch up. I am in sim/pro mode.

I tried the set up for this car and found it to be all over the place and ended up quitting the race on more than one occasion. I saw the benefit of tuning the gears but the camber and toe settings played havoc with the cars handling. I can't seem to get any car above 13th place at the moment on this track. Though Having cars ram me from behind in slower corners and me getting the penalty doesn't help either.

This setup is quite old, and therefore old spec. It's not going to work with the Spec III update.

And if you're doing S7 in pro mode then you will need to tweak your tune yourself. S7 and especially S10 are a real challenge in pro mode. Some have done it but many of us have still not made it.
