Ok, I have a problem here and I'm wondering if it's just me or if others experience the same... I use a DS4 the problem is I grip it so hard my hands physically hurt after any kind of long session! It's the same with all racing games... Definitely not the design of the pad because I can go hours on end on something like battlefield.
I grip it so hard I hear the plastic creaking and flexing from the force, after every race my hands and fingers really do hurt! I've tried lessening my grip but it's an effort and I never can go as fast. The thing I put it down to is adrenaline and supreme concentration and if I relax my grip I'm just not as fast. I use the sticks only, right for gas / brake, left for steering. It's not my thumbs that hurt, more my knuckles and fingers from just gripping it so hard. I do worry it'll cause arthritis in my old age!!
