Guy who insists that his Challenger is FWD

Is he actually putting "chains" on those front tires?
All I can say is buy a magazine featuring your car, and if yo haven't already...RTFM!!!

He's got another on that side, so I'm guessing they're going on ALL FOUR tires.

So easy to take things out of context.

nope, the fellow who took the pic actually talked to the guy and the owner insisted that it is FWD.. hence putting chains only to the front.

Lmao, those cars are so garbage, weights like a truck, its so big, and damm slow, the car looks good though in orange fully loaded.

According to all the articles I've read, they are actually quite quick.
IT is unfortunate that what was originally a "cheap" car back in the '70's has "evolved" into one of the top line, top price models today.

I assume when you say 'fully loaded', you mean Top Spec or something. Not the car fully loaded with luggage and people cus that would make it even heavier.

R: "...and six beverage cup holders, all in all rather stocked I must say."

Q: "'fully loaded' I believe is the term."

I wonder what his reasoning is for thinking it's FWD...

How can he not feel his car is RWD?
If I had bad tires and RWD, I'm pretty sure I would have put them on the front.. I have driven on bad tires up front and good out the back, and vice versa. I've gotta say it's more important to have grip up front, then you can atleast steer the car.. I had no problems driving around with bald all seasons on the rear and studs on the front..

If I was the dude in the Challenger, I would've been so ironic with the dude asking me about the chains.. Maybe this guy was as well? Just a thought ;)

Maybe it's a deliberate move to increase front end grip and make it throttle steerable ;)

My point exactly. I'm pretty sure I would have done that, unless the snow chains were put on to get up hills or something.. I came towards a fence with summer tires up front and all seasons out back once - not recommended.

I don't get what putting chains on the tires has to do with being stupid... Ok, he's stupid if he thinks his Challenger is FWD. But I mean if he only had chains for two tires it'd probably be smarter to have them in the front. Imagine the understeer otherwise. Oversteer is more controllable.
