Has anyone seen Akira?I am Watching it right now and it is awesome!!!!I still have almost 2 hours left untill i finish it!I REALLY Hope that this is a good movie.because i dont want to feel like i wasted my time downaloading it for nothing!!

I have the limited edition as well as the comic book from the late 80's. I wish I would have picked up the first graphic novel though. Great art work, and worth a few bucks as well.

Hey, Tank Police was animated too? I have the first set of those as comic books, as well as all of the Akira series up to the long hiatus Otomo took. Unfortunately I'm missing everything after #35 or so. It was a great story, and great manga art. I even liked the computer recoloring job they did.

I also have the first couple Appleseed issues, and some other Japanese stuff. Looks like I may have to trot out the comics boxes and read some of this stuff again.

AO, were we unknowingly brothers or something? Tell me you have double copies of the first dozen or so issues of Bone...

Akira is probably the BEST anime movie ever. Though, I never understood the ending.

Try the "Saint Seya " movies. They are as hard as hell to find in America, they are the best anime series I have ever seen.
