Anniversary cars download problem

My problem is that the cars, gears and paint items do not show up in game. I got the 1M credit though.

After plenty of testing, deleting and reinstalling (game and save data), it seems that there is problem with my user account on PS3 (the local account). It tries to download a small update (which I believe is the car data), then when the game restarts it just hangs. Then it never comes back to download and no cars available, but the 1M comes in. The only way to get the cars is, strangely, delete my game account and recreate one. It's not desirable as I don't want to lose all save games, esp some stupid games that prevent you from copying to backup.

Anyone had this problem or any clue?

(yes I tried psn support, they only tested my online account and the code which of course are ok, then repeat endlessly to ask me to type in the code in various locations. dumb support, they are supposed to be GT6 support as well)

Make sure your disc and account (and all DL too) are from the same region. That was my problem.

Obviously you are missing the cars, but does the game play okay otherwise?
Can you see the Anni. packs (velocity, torque etc) in your download list under Account Management?

Yes the game plays without any problem.
It's still in the download list. It says "install complete" when I download it again, just doesn't show up in game.

I'd done some more tests. When I bring a savegame with the cars (when I delete and re-create a new local user it works) to my current status after full restore, all the cars show up but have an "!". When I choose the car, it says "Cannot find rights information. Please download the content again."

Looks like it can't install the packs....

Are those pics. from your proper game garage?
If so have you tried to download again?
By that I mean delete the cars from the garage and then re-download.

You could try one of the packs.
Delete these 5 cars as a test :
Ford GT40 Mark I 15th Anniversary Edition
Pagani Huayra 15th Anniversary Edition
Renault Sport Megane Trophy V6 15th Anniversary Edition
Alpine A110 1600S 15th Anniversary Edition
Lancia STRATOS 15th Anniversary Edition

Once done, it wouldn't hurt to go to Options > Network and clear sysytem cache.
(May be pointless, but it can't hurt)
Do a manual save, quit game and go to XMB.
Account management > Transaction Management > Download list.
Find the Torque Pack and re-download.

Start GT6 again and see what you find.

Yes from game garage. Other cars that I bought/won are fine.
Is there an option to delete cars? I only have the option to "update car image" (which works though).
My version is just a single Anniversary car pack with 20cars. Got another racing gear pack and paint pack, both fail as well.

Wow, my bad, sorry.
Nope, looks like they can't be removed.

Personally I would do this.
Copy save (proper save file not 'backup') to USB
Delete both saves from console.
Delete game data from console.
Offline start GT6 and buy FIT, save game and quit.
Sign-in and go to download list and re download packs.
Sign out and restart GT6 offline.
See if cars are there.

I went though this with another guy.
After a heap of mucking about we finally cracked it.
Check out this link to his final solution.
If nothing is working for you, maybe some of the stuff we tried in this thread will help.

Good luck.

Still no luck :(
Followed your suggestions up to the last one, seems 1.0 doesn't have any car data. Went online and updated 1.03 and others, now no more hang on restart, but still nothing show up except 1M.
In the game data update history it shows all "car key files" attempts.
