Annoying Social Habits of people you've met

I've got another few...

- People on bicycles who ride on the road. You don't pay road tax, therefore, you shouldn't ride on the road and keep the drivers who do pay high road tax

- People who don't let you pull out of the drive even though the light just after it is red so they can't go anywhere and block you in.

- People who reckon that gluing a bodykit to a 1.2 Nova makes it a performance car and parade up and down your road all night keeping you awake and looking like a right front-bottom. And to top it off, they insult us by leaving it in primer.

Maybe, just maybe drivers are taxed on the amount of CO2 the vehicles they drive produce. Maybe there aren't enough cycling lanes?

In all varying forms, overcompensation or underestimation.

P*ssing contests. Everytime the story has to be more grandiose, spectacular, bloodier, more incredible, more heart wrenching, more violent, more...flatulent. Anything.

People who assume because I am 18, I'm under the impression I have the world by the ass and then proceed to believe I know nothing.

People who fully have faith that the system will take care of them for the rest of their lives.

People who say my car is an absolute piece because I decided to break my back and pay out of pocket for it. These same people come to me for a ride when the car their mom gave them is in the shop because the cheap turbo they put on it blew up.

Vegatarians. You we graced in your mouth with these teeth called canines. They are designed to shred meat and break it down into digestible matter. You are starving (quite litterally) for attention. Go play in traffic.

Prius owners/ drivers/ Priuses in general. You elitist bastards, you could save you, your family, and your mortgage if you purchased a Corolla 5 speed. The premium you pay over the Corolla would would equate to about 12 years of reliable service to just break even, as far as paying for fuel is concerned. That's even if the radioactive battery will last that long. Just a thought.

Religious fanatic who choose to inform me I'm wrong with my views and all my experiences because of a book they believe is a fax from heaven. That is considered a form of judgement upon my spiritual well-being, something as I recall is also not allowed to be done by their own credo.

Elitists.

Absolute pigs who believe because of said book they are entirely superior to women. (one of my co-workers...I want some woman to hear this and just snap him in half someday..:banghead:.)

Anyone who has a 5 speed who immediately assumes they can drive well, or credits their "drivinskillz" to NFS.

On a note with ROAD_DOGG, the drunk driver who kills the other driver and yets stumbles away as the sirens approach...

People who get really deeply into Survivor or Big Brother because those shows are SO REAL.

The new Disney. Little 13-year old girls just starting they're lo-cut shirts and skirts and dancing around because life is so grand....influencing 6 year-olds like my little sister.

People who stare at you like an absolute monster because you still reprimand your children the old-fashioned broad palm way.

On that note, the teachers now encouraging young kids to report any discipline to 911 as abuse.

Young kids zombied out on either ritalin or blazing on some energy drink.

Teenie-boppers getting pregnant and then duping their equally stupid boyfriends by calling rape.

Lack of responsibility in general.

Lack of respect in general.

People who insist in typing with ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME!!!

1337.

Hypocondriacs.

People who insist they can drink me over the table, under the table and just plain hold their booz. And get sloshed on a single Smirrnoff.

The uncontrollable partier.

People who cut you off (which is why I'm purchasing a 5-pitch train horn for my car.....and it's legal.)

Superiority because they have the taller vehicle.

People who insist on driving with their halo headlights on thisclosetoyoura**.

People who just absolutely s**t on older cars because they don't have V-tec.

People who talk down to my missus just because she's a woman. (Walk into a car dealership and the dealer asked if she was along just to pick the color.)

People who insist of reminding me of some menial task only 58246052345 times in a span of 15 minutes.

That's the tip of the iceberg for the moment. I saw a ton in here that more than likely I repeated and apply.

Cheers,
Jetboy

Even more!

- i h8 ppl hu tlk lyk dis. Seriously, stop molesting the English language.
- Oh yeah, people who insist on giving their children stupid names. (E.g. Hope. As in "I hope I get to change this name when I'm older).
- Old people who think I'm a menace to society because I wear a hoodie and jeans. I had one come up to me randomly in town and try to confiscate my hoodie. I mean, go away.
- People who sing so loudly at concerts you can't hear the band.
- People who try to make out they know everything about cars. And start bitching when I say that I'd rather have this than this.

Who the hell wouldn't prefer a 190E to a bar graph?

Most people my age apparently.

Time to add more things to my list.

-Playing rap as loud as they possibly can in a public place. It's worse when there are kids around. A 5 year old doesn't need to hear every foul word in the English language.
-People who always use those retarded 'mom' jokes. They're immature and not very funny.
-People with vicious dogs, who say mine is vicious. (Almost everyone who has met him want to take him home, including some people like my dad who don't really like dogs. BTW my dad wants to clone him!) My dog gets scared when I'm holding a big stick.(previous owners beat him, but we spoil him with leftovers!)
-Cursing in front of little kids, even after being asked politely not too.
-Racism
-Asking me and my friends to wait on them while they go to the restroom, and taking an hour and a half.
-Embarrassing me or other people publicly.
-Not being able to take a joke.

Congrats on post #1,000!
Thanks!👍

I had so many ideas last night, and now I come here and see that you've basically posted them all 👍

My wife had a mom and a little girl come into the ER. She asked the mom the girls name.

Shi*head. (pronounced - "thead", not "head")

Does that count?

Yup, I am one bitchy person I think you'll find.

On a side note: Hoo-rah! This topic is now a hot topic!

Heh, I just finished reading Freakonomics, and that girl’s name is mentioned in the book (there’s a whole chapter devoted to how people name their children).

-Kid admins in games acting like I really care if I get banned from their stupid server for ever...

-People who say all kids from California are rich snobs that get handed everything to them...

-Generalizations in general actually... (lol)

-People have told me I am a lost cause and I will die in hell because I'm agnostic (which is kind of funny to be told that I'm going to die in something I don't believe exsists)

-People who say Atheism isn't a religion when infact it technically is...

-People who think that their opinion is always correct

-Kids online who try and deepen their voice and swear a lot to sound older... (I doesn't work guys)

-Getting flamed for hosting an opinion...

I mean wtf... Prepared to be beeped at for being a dumb ass... Don't be surprised.

Don't you just hate Business/First Class passengers on Airplanes who think they are amazing because they have a laptop?

Don't Get me started on Aircraft...

theres a girl on my course at uni who has a load of annoying 'habits' lol
- always tries to do one better, or one worse...if someones just got a fancy camera shes got two, and twice as expensive. or, if someones broken their arm she'll reveal a story how she broke both legs...and an arm.
- seems to think theyr best friends, talks even though i dont like them and then they mention odd details in conversations with other people like i actually would tell you all about my personal life...
- asks personal questions in front of a crowd of people, and not in a joking way
- try to discuss other peoples personal life while theyr out of the room
- natters on about her 'totally wild' events that happen in her bed every night, it doesnt make her as cool as she thinks it does
-makes excuses when they cant just say 'i dont want to', its usually when asking to do something and they say 'got no money' even though theyv spent 5 days a week for months working.

-total exaggeration on anything, minor things are blown up, much like how the commentator on that show 'worlds most amazing videos' does...things iv heard like someone spending £1000 a week on electricity bill, apparently having tons of expensive gear but just happened to lose it all whenever asked to see and the best story telling explosion...turning 2 people into 'everybody' 'liek omg i went to da party and everyone knew me and bought me a drink'
- dropping names like anyone knows who these random people are
- saying things without actually revealing it just to get people to ask what on earth they mean, like 'omg i shouldnt have done that crazy thing last night *pause* or 'ohh im so tired i was up all night doing something *pause*

- the inability to have a conversation, ie ones that go
me: hey how are you?
them: ok
me:..soo been up to much?
them: yea
me:...like what?
them: ah nothing much
me:...great! what you doing now?
them: ah nothin
me: marvelous! *gives up*

thatll do for the moment :p

Guilty. I cannot stand small talk. :yuck:

More!

People who insist that just because else has a nice car, that they must be compensating for something. Sometimes...sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

People who feel the need to talk in detail in public about extremely private matters in an apparent attempt to look cool. No, I don't need to know about how your biggest problem during "private time" (which you had three times last week) is bumping your head. I don't need to know what you did before or after. STFU. Did you really need to declare that to the entire classroom? I don't need to know how long you've been ____. You are a gross individual and will have the reputation of a ____, and no one will ever be interested in a serious manner in you ever, you ____ing ____. Fill in the blanks.

People who refuse to believe that other people might not be like them. A girl in some of my classes in college used to talk about how she loved to drink several beers or some wine every day and would get so drunk she couldn't walk next to whatever guy picked her up on weekends, or how she would crave a cigarette so much that she'd smoke in off limits areas inside the buildings when she could just walk a hundred feet or so and go outside. When someone told her that that was a bit much for a college student (at a normal, non-party school), she replied with this gem, eyes rolling at what she perceived as ignorance on the part of her friend: "Oh come on, you know Everybody does that! Anyone who says they don't is just lying." I don't. I know many, many people who don't. In fact, I only knew two or three who were as bad as her in my time at that college. But apparently I'm also a drunken, promiscuous, chain smoking liar by her standards :/ It's sad, because she was really beautiful and had a good head for information management (if not reality) too. I bet she'll be a burned out hag by the time she hits 30 if she doesn't slow down or get a clue.

People who play Guitar Hero on expert think they are gods.

EX.

Bob: I've gotten 100% complete on every Gran Turismo.

Phil: Whatever.

Steve: I can finish a song on expert in Guitar Hero.

Phil: No way! Thats amazing!

LOL, Wut!?!?!?!?one

(people who respond in such away)

Also please elaborate on that one for me I don't quite follow.

Funny story to do with this. Listen to this exact conversation I had with a girl over MSN yesterday.

Them: Hey
Me: Hi
Them: What you doing?
Me: Nothing much, browsing the 'web and music really. You?
Them: Nommuch. How's life?
Me: Not bad, and you?
Them: Pretty good thanks

*30 Minutes pass*

Them: You don't talk much do you?

WTF!

^ Exactly what happens to me sometimes.

Deffo one of the most annoying types of people ever.

Oh yeah...

Sad thing is, All The Right Reasons is a decent album, bar that track.

The Olympics reminded me – people who commentate while you’re trying to watch TV. My mom feels it’s necessary to point things out five minutes after the hosts have already pointed them out.

So true!!..

-People who point and laugh because I'm riding a scooter.(the kind you push with your feet)
-White people that think/act like, their black.(no racism intended)
-People who underestimate you because your smaller than them.
-People that come and talk to me in a sh:censored:tty excuse for a southern accent because I'm fishing.
-'Spoiled' kids.
-Kids who think they can drive good when they REALLY can't.
-Those who think they are funny.
-Sports players who talk down to everyone who doesn't play a sport.
-Show-offs.
-Sore losers.
-People with an 'Alligator mouth and a hummingbird butt.(They talk trash but can't back it up)
-I HATE when people use the F-Bomb in every single sentence they say.

That might be the best post that I have ever read. I can agree with every one of those. I too get laughed at for riding a scooter, there is nothing funny about it, it's just fun.
I also hate the white kids that act gangster. My town is filled with them. They act really tough because they wear 100,000,000,000,000XL t-shirts and listen to rap music.
But the one I might agree with most out of all of those is "Use the F-Bomb in every sentence" guy. What are you trying to prove? I think I will understand your sentence better without the F-Bomb than with it, I'm always too busy counting how many times you can cram it into a single sentence than acutually listening to the matter at hand.
And spoiled kids, we know that you are rich, stop acting like it.

And I will conclude with one of my own. Oblivious People. The ones that seem to be living in their own little world. They think that they have the perfect solution for everything and that only they know what is right. They also think that their little Johnny or Suzy it the greatest thing to grace God's green earth (quite the alliteration). Look your kid is nothing like how they describe them, I know that for a fact, quit making excuses for any unbelievable flaw that they may have and treat them like a normal kid. Could you tell I was talking from experience?

Don't Get me started on Aircraft...

Why not?

  • Strangers in the seat next to you who watch what you're doing on your laptop even though it's none of their business
  • Those sitting in front of you who put their seat down, then up, then down, then up countless times on an 11-hour flight back from Israel :grumpy:
  • Those (morbidly obese) who refuse to buy an extra seat even though it's impossible for them to fit into just one
  • People who waste flight attendants' time by complaining to them about things that are way out of their control (food prices, turbulence, delays, etc.)
  • Those who join the mile-high club on a 30 minute flight, even though everyone on the little puddle-jumper can hear them
  • People who don't understand that a full-size suitcase is NOT a carry-on bag
  • Those who scream at gate agents about delays, as if it's somehow their fault
  • Parents who refuse to control their wild, screaming children on long-haul flights
  • People who refuse to move out of the exit row even though they're clearly incapable of helping in an emergency
  • EDIT: The people who think they're entitled to special treatment just because they got upgraded to business class

I think I've covered most of it.

You must not like John Madden.

I agree Prosthetic. I cant stand the way that people drive in this state. Useless fact: you can miss over half of the questions on the driving test and pass. I missed one out of like almost 40.

Id also like to stress that I hate driving in CA.
