Bumped into (literally) a new punter last night. Keep a wary eye out for an American driver xXFOOLISH_WAYSXx. He has picked a very suitable name and, obviously, went to the same driving school as our old friend Kubica88 as he demonstrated all the same collision and reverse direction skills.

I kicked him from the lobby and he sent me a LMFAO message. Yes, I'm sure it was very funny! I blame the parents.

yeah he was an asshole .by the time he had finnished playing destruction derby i was 25 odd seconds behind.

It boggles my mind why somebody from the States would go through the trouble to import the game (a hassle to begin with) and pay considerably more for what's an obscure title, even in Europe, only to drive around and slam people.

But thanks for the warning Derek--I'll keep my eye out for him.

Tell me about it.

Just bought the game yesterday, but since I have 100's of hours on FC I thought I'd just have a go online!

Got murdered on the courses I didnt really know, then we came to spa!

What a bunch of evil ramming f'ers! I was 3 secs in the lead, but a nice timed hit from someone sent me into last place.

WTF!

Hmmm... I could go with the non assist players but since I'm on a pad I need a little ABS... maybe I'll just have to learn to play without it.

Rant over

hi all :) my post won't really add much to the discussion, but after many hours of online in various games including this
one, i simply cannot see what rammers think they are gaining from their antics

accidents in the heat of the moment are one thing, and those guys will wait and let you regain your spot, but deliberate
ramming is something that i'll never understand :grumpy:

+1:tup:

Remember it is a video game and kids play video games; but kids (usually) do not have a driver's license yet, nor own a car!

But, I 👎 rammers and punters!

Should I consider importing SCC, as I am in Canada?

Biggles; did you take part in the GT5 Demo Time Trial (Indy)?

Do you know how many Candians took part? I was 473rd overall in Canada, but now I have a playseat!

Race ya later

I've waited and waited for it (SCC) to be released here in N.A.... but finally, just last week, ordered a copy from a game store in Sheffield, U.K. Picked it up new for $28.98 shipped USD. Not too bad, I don't think. I tried several months ago to try and play my F1 game online and then realized (and googled it) that the N.A. servers were shut down :grumpy: Wanted to get a PAL copy of F1 but it's just too much money right now, and the fact I don't play online "a lot" on the PS3 - SCC will fit the bill nicely.

If anyone out there has a PAL version of F1 they would want to part with, let me know, I would love to have a online playable version. :)

Probably the better option considering there's still been no 'official' announcement about SCC. From what I've been able to piece together. A) It may happen sometime this summer IF all parties (whoever they are agree). B) It probably will NOT be called Supercar Challenge but would be compatible with SCC. C) It would be available as a download from the PSN store.

I suspect for < $30 including shipping, it's a bargain. Enjoy. But if you want to race on-line, you'll have to do it on the weekends or early.

In a wk I will have my copy from UK and w/ ship it was around $28 US. Between SCC, GT5p, and Shift I think I will have enough skills to be able to ROCK GT5, by the time " H, E, double hocky sticks" freezes over.
