Another DLC question

A quick query about DLC and multiple accounts. I have just got several items of DLC, when my son went onto GT5 on his account only some of the items were there. I understood that all users would have access to the DLC. I could understand it if no DLC had been on his account but it seems odd that some items are but others aren't.

Any ideas/suggestions? Any help appreciated.
 
Only some DLC is available as Family Packs.

The only DLC available on multiple accounts is free DLC (Obviously) and Family Pack DLC which costs more than the single licenses.

I don't use multiple accounts so I can't tell you whether you need to re-download the keys from the store or not unfortunately.
 
Thanks for the reply, the DLC code is from the Academy edition. I've got the speed pack and some car packs but not the Spa track or about 15 cars/carts. I've got them all on my account but missing those mentioned on my son's.

At least he got the Aventador which he's pleased about, :)

The Gran Turismo 5 DLC released on October 18th, 2011 could only be used by the PSN account which was used to sign in when making the PlayStation®Store purchase.

We received many requsts from those using the PS3™ system with multiple accounts for family members, that they would like to be able to use the tracks and cars of the DLC on all other users on the PS3™ system as long as one of the accounts makes the DLC purchase.

To answer to this request, a free Family Upgrade is made available on the PlayStation®Store from December 21st, 2011, for customers purchasing the Course Pack and Racing Car Pack DLC's (including those purchsed as a part of the Complete Pack).

* The Racing Gear Pack and Paint Pack are not subject to the Family Upgrade. these are still only usable by the account which made the purchase.
