I've searching the forum but didn't find anything

I bought a used g25 and I'm very happy with it, but in GT5 the FFB feels TOO strong, even when set to 1 in the options

other games like f1 2010 and grid that fully suports the wheel i play with 50-60% FFB, and when i switch do GT5 it feels to hard to me

anyone with the same issue ?

I agree, I think the FFB in many areas is too much, even set to 1. Bear in mind you may get some fools slagging you (and me) off for being weak pussies who should hit the gym (I'm not kidding, other threads on the same subject have had morons like that replying).

It's especially bad in the FGT, the X1, the Ferrari F1 cars and the Rallying....and by Rallying I mean when going onto the tarmac, where it continues to be very hard to turn the wheel....knobbly off road tyres would give **** all grip on tarmac, yet it feels like I have superglue on my tyres!

rally is nearly impossible, not only de ffb is strong and crazy, but to drift like loeb you have to turn 900º all the time !

And i'm not only concerned about the game feeling more real, but in the wheel heating too

I drive with FFB set to 10, I like it. Also have G25 wheel.

If you want to reduce the FFB, there are a few ways to do it:

-Steering options set it to 'Amateur' instead of 'Professional'. Steering will be slightly easier. Also, you have a little more grip in game (dunno why)

- Same menu, power steering to 'on'. This will make steering a LOT easier. But I don;t like it since you loose so much feeling.

I have it on Amateur, Off, 10

It actualy feels strong when you go on to tarmac because the rally cars in gt5 have a smaller turning rack (about 360degrees lock to lock I think). So when you go on to tarmac it has to cram all the force feedback from 900 degrees to 360. I think anyway. Try it though, go in a camera where you can see the wheels and turn your wheel and see when they stop. You have to be on a rally track though, I believe the game changes all cars steering racks if you go onto a rally track.

I'll have to remember to check this as I don't remember seeing this option.

Setting to amateur reduced a lot ! thanks

I can't do the rallying with my G27 (Which is smoother than the G25) because it shakes and rattles the foldable table I have it set up so. My setups isn't sturdy enough for those, but it is for the X2010/Vettel Challenge.

It is a lot stronger than on other games, but to be honest I think the FFB on games like F1 2010 is too weak, you barely even feel rumble strips. Yes, the FFB is too strong in certain cars in GT5 but fr the majority it's fine.
