Hey all GTP folks,

So has anyone else been following the whispers about this supposed Lamborghini Fenomeno? Think it means phenomenal in Italianooo! lol
If even half the rumors are true, we’re in for something seriously nuts.

Word is it’s going to be the next big halo car from Lambo — somewhere between a sendoff for the V12 era and a leap into hybrid hypercar territory. Supposedly a hybrid V12 pushing over 1,000hp? That sounds straight-up insane, but also... kinda believable given where things are going. I mean, the Revuelto already paved the way, and Lamborghini’s never been shy about going full chaos mode.
  • VIP customers were reportedly offered a look at the new supercar recently.
  • This new model will be the most powerful Lamborghini ever produced.
  • Production of the Fenomeno, as it could be named, will be capped at 29 units. :boggled::banghead:

Design-wise, some renders have been floating around — super sharp lines, low-slung profile, and those signature drama-filled Lambo angles. A few people are saying it’s even more extreme than the Centenario or Sian, if that’s possible. Also hearing stuff about active aero that basically morphs the car depending on how you're driving. Sounds like sci-fi, but also, this is Lamborghini we’re talking about.

No official specs or launch date yet, just lots of teasing from sketchy “leaks” and mysterious patents. But still — if the Fenomeno ends up being real (and not just a codename for something else), it could be the craziest Lambo yet.

Anyone else keeping an eye on this? Think they’ll go full hybrid or try something totally different?

I saw this maybe last week. Is 1000 HP the new magic number for high end sport cars? It seems like every EV or hybrid aims to hit those numbers. Anyway this will interesting to see how it looks and what the specs are

Hybrid tech has made reaching that number much easier now, since you don't have to overcome the exponential increases in both engine size and engineering cost needed to reach it with just ICE alone. The Veyron needed a 8 liter, 16 cylinder engine with four turbos and 10 radiators to crack the 1000 horsepower mark, remember.

And with average road going vehicles creeping up on 300 horsepower and 500 becoming the new baseline for anything designed with sporting ambitions, crazy hypercars pushing four digits isn't that shocking.

The Revuelto already makes over 1000 hp combined from its hybrid powertrain, so that part would be nothing new. I suspect it's just going to be a re-bodied Revuelto with no mechanical changes.

yup, looks like we're getting into the 50 Aventador variants territory with the Revuelto again. This scares me because it's still a pretty new car, that should hopefully have many more years for production.

I miss the days of the Reventon where it was just that car as the only rebodied special edition... and it was truly special. None of the Aventador variants or one-offs feel that way because they produced way too many.

The Veneno doesn't feel special because the Centenario exists, which also doesn't feel special because the SC18 exists and they're all basically the same car anyways. It sucks.
