I'ed post pics if i could, but i cant :(

I'll post a save with all the secret cars once i get around to it :)
Well if you have a sharkport you should just hack em yarself...

Its the same color in game, kinda gold colored :)

I've seen it, looks the same, is the same most likely. But it is hidden....

There is also a Tommi Makinen Lancer OPT, usually the opt cars are hidden but it looks to be the same as the other ones...

Its OPT Because it has the Stripe, i looked at that also.

I found a evo6 Rally car with Special after the name, but in game it seems the same as the normal one.

Post what? The Lancer and Skyline? There's really nothing new to see. Its in the Miatas that there is seeable change...

My PAL version has the Tommi Makkinen Edition Evo6 Stripe as a standard car you can buy. Is the OPT another version again?

I tested the M yesterday, it's sorta like an NA version, you can't buy any turbos or NA, but it does have a normal turbo on it...other than that it seems to be the same...

You been living in a cave Rice? I honestly can't believe you said that!

I guess I have to tell you...

You know what a Shark Port is? I hope so...
It connects your PS2 to a PC, and you can backup and DL saves, and DL codes. MeKon(I think, I just call him MK, he goes here) made a program that allows you to switch parts and make really cool and fast cars. In the program you can switch cars, picking from the full list of cars in the game, and some are hidden, or not normally in the game. These include a Porsche 911 GT3, Lancia Stratos/Stratos WRC, the Diablo, and many different cars includeing Miatas, The Skyline, and a Lancer, that all seem to be variations of current cars.

The Miatas range from a SR/Limited with diff wheels, GT plates, and roll bar, '89 Miata Opt with a Japanese plate, GT3 emblem, spoiler, and antenna, and several other Miatas.

You can DL the program, just do a search.

I just noticed that the Vauxhall Touring Cars (the other versions of the Astra and the Calibra) have slightly different paintschemes. The Vauxhall ones have 'VAUXHALL' on the hood, the Opel ones have 'OPEL'. Interesting. I still haven't noticed any difference with the VX220, which is essentially the Speedster. But it is nice to have some new cars in the garage that are 'hidden.' Oh yes, and I figured out those OPT cars. They are stock versions of cars with rare paintschemes. (Like the PINK Vitz, oh gawd.) God bless MK.

No, the Vitz is an EXT, and all of the prize cars with rare schemes are EXT. I'm pretty sure it stands for Extra, and Opt stands for Optional, meaning that the Opts were just choices that Sony coulda used, but didn't. And then theres that Lancer Rally Special...

And the VX220, I have it, the front grill(more of a single bar)is in the shape of a V, and it has the Vauxhall emblems.

I think that the Miatas are the best hidden cars in the game(hidden, in the game...oxymoron)(becides the 911, I don't really like the Stratos)because there's a ton of them, they are other models(SR is a model in Japan, VSPL stands for V-Special which was in GT2, SSPL is S-special and was in GT2, and the '89 opt is more of the '92 S-special in GT2 with the spoiler and stuff.

And you can now change color on the 911 with the V4 program, it's so easy to use, gives stock HP and NA or Turbo for the engines, gives wieght and Wheelbase for the chassis, and other stuff.

has anyone tried this new version 4 of the hybrid prog? i downloaded it the other day, but have yet to try it. what are the differences from previous? i could not get the version 3 working quite right.......

bryan

V4 works perfectly, and it's so easy to use, gives stock HP and NA or Turbo for the engines, gives wieght and Wheelbase for the chassis, and other stuff.
Try it, it's the best.

I just tried the Lancer Rally Car speacial(last night)and it's the same as the normal VI rally car, but when you get in it it just says LANCER at the bottom, where as the in game one says Lancer Rally Car VI. You can't buy anything for it, and when you drive it, it feels like it's all disjointed, the parts seem to be binding eachother, you let off the gas and turn and the front inside tire(if you're turning) locks up a little, and the car studders. It also is really pixelated, and makes the track pixelated too. And the wheels are too big, going through the fenders a little. The settings are really messed up:TCS and ASM aren't in the settings menu, but ASM is on, but it doesn't do its job. I wiped out and ASM didn't come on till I was almost stoped, and that was without the parking brake. The Limited slip settings are also wierd, one of the back diffs is set to 130, while the front is set to 0, and vise versa. It does have a driver and co driver like the normal one.

I also found a hidden S2000, I got mine in Islander Green, and in the garage there's no name on it(when you go to the car in it's screen with the specs and stuff. It's the S2000 A Ext, A standing for Amersican I guess, as it didn't have the (J). I've also started my collection of hidden Miatas. I now have:
SR Limited Opt
SSPL
VSPL
J Limited II
'89 Opt
LS Org
And maybe 1 more.
I will try to get the others today.

There are three Cerberas, sample 002, 004 and 009. If you love this body you could get it in a huge variaty of colors all three samples have over 20 color schemes. Tere is something ealse, the three have diferent downforce and or wheight, so they handle diferently. I also noticed that one of the cars, can't rmember if it was 004 or 009 has the devils wheels. The wheels of this car glow in fluorecent colors like a hypnothic thing.

Does anybody knows wich of the three drives better, Or how could I tune my 002, this one has the devil but in the engine. It has aceleration, so much it spins out of control, the others handle much beter but lack the speed.

And there are also RSX bodies without the sphere on top That I think you could get in diferent colors than the in game ones.

good find. I have been holding off on the sample cars cause I just thought they were nothings. Now that you explained what the cars are I'll go get me some.

I tryed out all of the sample cars.

001 is the RX-7 LM with a different engine
002, 004, and 009 are Cerberas, 2 with honda plates, 1 with a toyota plate
003, 005, 006, and all of the other ones are RSXs, with the exeption of a couple of no show cars.
007 locked up the game when I tryed to see it in the garage.

And that's that. I also found that 1 of the Cerberas(toyota plate) has RX-7 RS front wheels, and RZ rear wheels.
And most of these cars have rotory engines, which suggests that a RX-7 is the first car listed in codes in the game, much like GT2.

That's what I can say about the Sample cars.

ohh, one of the RSXs had those little sign things below it, but they said "Nissan Color" instead of Mitsubishi. Sorta wierd...

Hi MazKid.
There is one RSX that has no sphere on top. I have yet to see in wich colors it comes. The Sample's 002, 003, 004 and 009 came in a bunch of colors. As I look at it the 003 is the RSX that says nissan colour. It comes in Sonic Orange so I think it has all the colors for the nissan cars, so does the Honda Cerveras, and the Toyota (wich I didn't noticed it had the Toyota plate). I'll check the RSX (sample 008) to see in what colors it comes, then I put all the RSX parts and presto a RSX special edition.

I was testing the cerveras to see wich was the best, and I put a 002 body in a 009 car base and has the same top speed than the 002 and handles as the 009, I really don't know if the 009 has the same speed as the 002, but the 002 burns so much rubber I see it as a faster car. I like the 002 for show-off , but for racing it sucks. Now I'm thinking of having both.
