Hey all fellow racers. I just wanna talk about the anti-aliasing in the game. It really seems that there isn't any when driving. On the other hand, at the dealership showroom there is? I might be wrong but seems weird.

Lack of AA when driving has a small affect on the graphics quality in my mind.

Just wanted to hear opinions from somebody who has more experience with the game.

I think there isn't any AA in the showroom, either.
Just look at the Ford GT in close-up.

IMHO they REALLY need to fix this because it drags down the otherwise great visual experience.

Also, it just doesn't fit in with the "perfectionism" maxime of PD and KY.

But the screens i have seen of the full version look promising, assuming they are not photoshopped

- this doesnt help when PS3 is just not able to AA well. It is hardware case...but to be honest i dont really care - GT5(p) will look fantastic even without huge amount of AA :D

Its not like the game doesnt have any AA at all.
It has 4x at 720p and 2x at 1080p.
I doubt they can improve it in GT5, wouldnt be disappointed then anyway, the game is still the best looking racing game ever created.

Yeah no doubt it's still the best looking racing game but it just jumps to my eyes while cruising in a slow car (much time to think everything else than consentrating on driving :) ) But yeah I believe they will put full AA on the GT5 itself.

I had another look at the showroom and I think ur right opladener, my eye just got fooled or something.

Great, great game, but I'm struggling with a problem, I want to use G25 flappy paddles to change gear in ex. F430, is it possible? It kind of ruins the feeling when u change gear without the clutch in H-shift mode.. Thanks.

Merged with existing thread

Is this true? So is there a difference in visual quality between those two resolutions?

1080p looks better though, but 720p doesnt need that much hardware power, this allowes a bit more anti aliasing.
