Any backup save traders having problems? UPDATE! Last page hilarity

Well actually, I've had another X1 sent to me. I think because of that other X1 the white one also appeared. I don't know this for sure but it might be the reason.
 
How did this thread make it to 3 pages without the video game karma police jumping in spouting some crap about how badly we deserve to lose our whole garages?
 
It could be a clog in the servers. I'm sure with the Duplications going on, there's a lot more trading. So, it could just be that PD's servers are slow.
 
The only way they can stop it is by changing the way game data is saved via update. They way it is now, they wont be able to remotely stop it on the server. Thats my take, I may be completely wrong but I dont think they really care... and they dont wanna tick us off.

Yeah I don't think they care on that, most likely why they still kept the 1 a day trade limit. And change some other thing's

It would require a major update to the code, everyone's garage would have to move up to the cloud. I don't think there's any way in hell their servers, or the hamsters that power them could handle it.
 
Also, remember for someone to appear on your friends list you have to exit the game and log back in. I don't know if that's an issue, but keep that in mind. If they aren't on your friend's list, you might not get their gifts until they are.

And yeah, to fix the duping, they would require a major update. But I would get your kicks in before they do patch it, if they do.

As a 40+ trade veteran, I wouldn't make schoolboy errors like that :lol:

Like I said, I'm sure I didn't make a mistake, but I'm willing to concede that it's possible that I may have somehow restored the wrong save. I doubt it though, it's a pretty simple procedure.

Anyway, drama averted for now. Just wait and see what happens if/when they do say ENOUGH!
 
Must just be me with problems. I can't connect to the servers at all now. Anybody else having problems?
 
Trades were very slow yesterday.

Out of 4 trades i recieved 2 of them withing 3 hours and 2 have not been recieved just checked and thats been since 12:00 last night.

I did a test today and sent a car from one of my accounts to another and worked first time :nervous: .

Are the server able to handle the traffic at peak time ?
 
Unbelievable... It turns out that the white X1 never left the garage!
The thumbnail showed it to be a dark blue one so my eyes just skipped over it..
I refreshed the thumbnail and it turned white again :lol:

So now I've got two white ones after trading for a 'replacement' that I never needed :dunce: :lol:

I do as a matter of fact ;) But alas, I'm limited by the trade restrictions otherwise I'd probably just give it to you mate.
