Anything I can do to help with lag on my end.Every race I join I end up getting bi***ed at because I try to pass, and BAM someone twitches into my front bumper/side/back ect..I always choose rooms with the highest amount of bars doesnt seem to help though

Describe your online connection. Wifi? Ditch it and connect a cord. Router? Skip it and go straight to the modem.

I haven't been online yet, but those two are the simplest fixes. You might also check to see if your connection is being throttled/hindered by your provider.

Been online. Haven't had a single case of lag. Lag is usually down to the user.

GT6's online manual does a good job of explaining how to ensure the best possible connection.

Have a look for ethernet over power products, usually called Powerline from router manufacturors. I run a set of powerline adaptors from dynalink and very very rarely have I had online connection issues or lag with any game. Wifi is hopeless and should only be used as a last resort
