any easy way to get cars back to stock?

I would like to run some of my modded cars in arcade mode as stock i.e. stock h.p., weight etc. My Viper for instance is still listed with over 900 hp. in arcade mode.

Not to be a douche, but once you mod engine and turbos and what not, if you get the message "this can't be undone" that is it, it cant be undone. You have to buy the car and not mod it. At least Im pretty sure that is the case.

Read the posts you are replying to correctly. He wants them stock in Arcade Mode.

I can't be too sure, but if it's on your favourites, it's copied off the garage.

IDK if you tried this already, but when in GT Life, go to the car, then go to Tuning, and put everything back to the stock parts. Of course, you'd have to select the parts again when you want it tuned (not buy, just select the aftermarket parts)

He answered the question properly. A lot of the upgrades can't be undone, so in arcade or GT Life, once you've done stage 3 engine tuning, it's done.

Time to buy a stock viper if you want it stock.

It can't be done for certain mods, I've tried. Only way it do buy a new stock car

Wait. how did the cars keep their settings in arcade?
I'm having major rage moments because my cars that I have fav'ed are still stocked in arcade mode...

As mentioned above some things can not be undone. These things are Engine Tuning stage 1 - 3 weight reduction 1-3 and chassis reinforcement. Once done these stay with you car as long as you own it.

Turbos, exhaust, manifolds, air cleaners, suspension, tranny, diff and such can be reverted back to stock at any time.

So if you want the ability to return a car to stock do not use any of the engine tuning upgrades. do not lighten the car and do not re-inforce it. You can add the turbo or supercharger if available as well as any exhaust, manifold and air cleaner you like and of course drivetrain and suspension parts.

Race Mod also can not be undone.
