So I want to put better music in my "Name that Tune" thread in the movie & TV forum. My idea was to post something like the following....
From that shortcut you could hear part of the Batman soundtrack (if you paste it into the "open url" option in WMP. The problem is you can also see that it's the batman soundtrack - which isn't good since that's the whole point of the thread.
Right now I've been posting midi files because of the size limit on posts. The problem with that is that quality is low and people have to rename the extension on the file to be able to listen to it. Not to mention that the real point behind the thread is to get people to think about movies as being sources of really great music - which is something that they don't do if it's just a midi file.
So question 1 is, how could I get people to not be able to see the name of the movie when linking to a source like amazon?
Since i think the first question will be answered with a "you can't", question 2 is do you have any ideas about how I could post better music to the thread?
