Any multiplayer racing game with traffic?

Is there a good racing game out there for the PC that has traffic in multiplayer play (ideally LAN multiplayer). Me and my friend would like to play something like the Wangan Midnight anime type racing game on PC where you race against someone on streets with traffic. I believe Test Drive Unlimited has this sort of thing (where the multiplayer has traffic), but is that the only game? (I didn't really like TDU).

Project Torque is a MMO racer, you might like it.

Need for Speed: World Online, an MMO racer in the works, is set to come out within the next year. I am looking forward to that as I think it will be a great success.

Midtown Madness 2 would fit your criteria, but it is rather...old? Yeah, old (still awesome though). I haven't played NFS: Most Wanted online, but it might fit the bill.
