Ubisoft recently announced that they will be publishing Milestones WRC game and that they are going to release it in October. I was hoping some details about the game would have been released at e3.

So has there been? Any info will be great :D

Are you sure you're not talking about this one? It's been released in Europe since October last year and is developed by Milestone...

...No I already own that game.

I'm curious to know your thoughts on it? Is it any good? Are you disappointed, and that is why you are looking for a new rally installment? Or just looking at the horizon in general. I have been looking forward to this game being release here in the states. I emailed the publisher, but have yet to get any feedback.

They launched this game here in Brazil for PC for only 10 bucks. I bought it.

It's an arcade game with 🤬 graphics, but it has a LOT of cars and tracks.

I am playing the current wrc game by milestone right now. It is pretty average really just like their ssv8 titles. If you can get it for $10 buy it but definitely never spend full price on it. I know once I finish it I won't pick it up ever again.

I liked it, more sim than Dirt. It doesn't have the best graphics but there good enough. Handling is hard to describe as PWRC and WRC cars drive rather well and feel like they have weight to them but the JWRC cars fell rather light and horrible. Sounds for most of the cars are rather bad but they do the job. Tracks are longer than Dirt also.

I do recommend picking it up as its rather cheap now. Simply import the PS3 version from anywhere in Europe.

Oh yeah there has been a teaser released for the 2011 game but doesn't show much.

Know anywhere it can be imported to the states for a decent price? Amazon UK won't let me ship here, and it's the only place I can find that's actually reasonable, about $25 USD. On Amazon.com imported, ebay, and play-asia it was $45-$65, and I refuse to pay that. Looks like DiRT will have to hold me over until the 2011 version comes out, assuming it does in the states...

Coolshop (http://www.coolshop.co.uk/catalog/product/63651-wrc-2010--for-ps3) are quite good for getting stuff at a good price - they're Danish but operate out of the UK. A lot of Dirt 3 PC players used them because they shipped the game in DVD form rather than download only.

Thanks for the thread Nismo - I enjoyed the first game despite its graphics, though online has been great fun. Also the leaderboard cheats who thrive by cutting corners etc seem to be at a minimum; due I suppose mostly to that handy green path marking where the ghost went :) naming and shaming works :sly:

I was looking forward to the next one but now even moreso, especially with so much more to do - active weather too!

Here's hoping they keep us up to date a bit more than with the first game, there was very little information around then too.

Thanks for the link to coolshop, I'll keep it mind. And I agree about the info, would be nice to not be left in the dark this time around. And hopefully we in the states actually get the game :)

The 1st game had some good tracks and the handling was nice enough but the graphics were terrible and it was missing some basic presentation that any other studio would include. Simple things like being able to view the car when editing the liveries would be nice, but it's just parked up on stand with a single viewpoint. The model seemed like it was very low resolution too.
